I used to see Dr. Dunlap when I lived in Torrance, and she is a very competent dentist. She always did a great job. My teeth look great thanks to her.

Some of the stuff she said made me feel uncomfortable. She once said, "Asian men are possessive." That statement did not make me feel good at all. My sister's partner is Asian American (he is Vietnamese and Southern Chinese), and he is not possessive. I felt like she was overgeneralizing and making some very hurtful remarks. Also, Asia is a very large continent (there are 48 countries in Asia). It doesn't make sense to make a statement like that when Asia is a very large and diverse continent.

Visited Dunlap Dentistry for a second opinion after a bad experience elsewhere. Was without dental insurance and broke a tooth. As I suspected, there are more issues with my teeth, of varying urgency. Dunlap Dentistry has been great working with me on prioritizing the issues, which to wait until insurance kicks in, which to manage as self-pay. I appreciate the whole team: everyone is helpful, kind, clear in communication, and gentle. Happy to have them in my corner as I get back on the right track with my dental health 🙂

Highly recommend Dunlap Dentistry!! Nice office, never a wait, TVs in the exam rooms with Netflix, personable staff, and expert care for the whole family. My husband, daughter who is 6 and I all love Dr. Dunlap. To sum it up, my daughter actually asks to go to the dentist. Thank you, Dr. Dunlap and team!

I moved from Corona to Torrance 4 years ago. I had a wonderful dentist for more than 30 years in Corona. When I got to Torrance, it took me awhile to looking for a new dentist because I was worry. But soon I found
Dr. Dunlap I feel completely comfortable with her care.
Dr. Dunlap and her team are absolutely amazing. From the time you walk in to the time you leave. She's just fantastic. I am sooo glad that I am her patient!

Knowledgeable. Fair. Honest. On one of my exams: “this tooth is doing ok, we don’t have to act on it, we can watch it for now”. She doesn’t aggressively upsell and that’s rare in dentistry.

My kids love her too and we did Invisalign twice with her and have excellent results!
