Being new to the area and geographically remote from my longstanding previous dentist I was cautiously optimistic about being a new patient with Dr. Amorteguy.
Any such doubts were quickly dispelled by the friendly staff and the modern spotless facility.
Dr. Amorteguy gave me the most thorough examination I have ever had along with an informed running commentary of what she saw and the significance of her observations. She clearly demonstrates superior knowledge and experience.
Most appreciated, beyond the examination, was the on the spot efforts made to accommodate my schedule for cleaning and follow up care.

I am very fortunate to now be in the care an exceptional staff and facility and any concerns about my future dental care are no longer an issue.

I had my first dental visit with Dr. Amorteguy today. I was a little overdue but, their office's attention to detail, care and comfort was a welcome change. You cannot go wrong with this office for your dental care. From the front office, insurance coordinator, Natalie (hygienist), Brittany (Dr.'s assistant) and Dr. Amorteguy's personal attention. They all make your individual care their utmost importance. Thank you. ☺️

Similar to another recent review, I’m disappointed to have to leave a one star review. Dr Amorteguy and the staff all seem lovely. Then you get hit with a bill that charges for extra little items that insurance won’t cover. For example, they charged me for instruction from my hygienist which was ridiculous because they told me how to floss… which I already know how to do. They also charged for a mouthwash they instructed me to use beforehand. If you are going to instruct me to use something, tell me it’s going to be an extra charge. I spoke with staff on the phone and was only able to get one charge removed and was not impressed with their explanations.
I would recommend finding someone else if you aren’t okay with surprise billing.

Dr. Amorteguey was exceptional . Best dentist appoitment I’ve had. Not only was I taken in within 5 minutes of my appoitment , there staff made the experience nice and welcoming. I can see why they have a 5 star rating !

Comfortably Known

I had a wonderful experience here yesterday! I had my usual jitters of visiting a dentist office come up as soon as i was escorted to the back haha. Not because of the x rays or photos they had to take, but rather I was more afraid to hear the results of them, worried something major would be wrong having not realized awhile had gone by since my last visit to a previous dentist! The assistant who took all the x rays and pictures was so kind and tried her best to make me comfortable so I really appreciated that! When Dr. Amorteguy came in to review them with me, she just told me what i previously suspected of very minor fixable things and nothing that my racing mind had made me believe to be true..Hallelujah Praise the Lord! haha. God is Good!! Her voice was so calm, and comforting, and so was her presence! She is so nice!! I'm definitely sending anyone i hear from now on, looking for a new dentist, to her and her team! They' re wonderful! And I, for once in my life, can Actually look forward to coming back here! haha. Also my child loved coming here too with my husband. I overheard the gal asking if he wanted toys to play with, so that's a bonus if you have kids! I know he will look forward to coming back here too! 🙂 Give them a try, you won't regret it and will be soo happy you did!! 🙂

If you have Delta Insurance, be cautious. This dental office has repeatedly billed my insurance for procedures that never occurred during my appointments, resulting in higher out of pocket costs for me. It’s incredibly disappointing because I liked the dental hygienist and Dr. Amorteguy, who were both excellent. However, their billing practices, particularly for Delta Insurance, are unethical.

I was told, "Delta knows we do this" and "It shouldn't be costing you anything," which felt like an excuse to justify overbilling. The first time this happened, I called to address the issue and was rudely told by their insurance representative that I must have "misremembered" my appointment details. She refused to discuss the matter further.

The second time, I was overcharged again for services I didn’t receive. Another staff member admitted they add extra services when billing Delta to get more money and assured me someone would call me back to resolve the issue and that I wouldn’t be charged. A month passed, no one called, and I was charged yet again.

When I called to cancel all future appointments and explained my decision to switch dentists due to these ongoing problems, they made no effort to issue a refund or offer any resolution.

Dr. Amorteguy is absolutely excellent — very professional, precise with every procedure, and even when I take her time to share something personal, I’ve never felt that she’s rushed through my appointment. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent dentist.
