I was looking back at all the reviews from 1 year ago, and it seems like every problem has been fixed. The customer service is great, and I've had my braces for about a year. Tney make everything painless, and explain what they're doing to your teeth. Amazing

I was referred by my niece to visit Dempsey Orthodontist. At first I was hesitant but after seeing my niece results, her teeth came out so beautiful. Even though I was early-mid 30s, I decided to come. Dr Dempsey is such a wonderful orthodontist. Extremely friendly and welcoming!
Dr Dempsey and her staff made my commute from Visalia completely worth while!
The whole staff is very respectable and professional. The communication is always up to par as far as reminders, answering calls, and answering any questions in a timely matter.

I wish they opened a sister location in Visalia!!

I highly suggest anyone who is interested for their young child, and/or themselves to come meet the staff and increase their confidence into a bigger-brighter smile!!

Dr is great! Don’t have a complaint on her. My biggest complaint is that their appointments are always months out. Can’t ever cancel an appointment and have one within days or weeks it’s months. So my best advice if you going to see this establishments don’t ever cancel your appointment even if your child has a minor cough etc because your appointment will never be set in a few days/weeks. Our last visit was in Jan 2 2024 had an appointment set for end of Feb 2024 but since I had to reschedule I was given an appointment for mid April. I’ve seen other orthodontist for my other children and this is the first drs office that appointments are that far out. If I would have know this I wouldn’t have set my daughters orthodontist care here.

I love the staff and the doctor! They have been so easy to work with and after only about 6 months in braces my teeth are taking on a shape to support my face and I already have a beautiful smile. Its only going to get better when the doctor is done! Can't thank you all enough!!

I've been a patient at Dempsey Orthodontist for a while, and I recently got my braces removed. I'm super happy with the results and the high-quality treatment. The staff is friendly and professional, making the whole experience a breeze. I definitely recommend them!

I had to come back and update my review. I was very upset the last day of care when I got my braces removed. She (Dr.) filed my teeth and I still have Scratches on the top of my teeth my teeth are not smooth like they used to be. She also ended up filing the bottom of my two front teeth to make them even Dr. filed them crookedly and just left them like. Dr was not standing directly in front of me, but off to the side Im deeply upset as these are my permanent teeth and I have to live with them. I will NEVER go back or NEVER recommend them to anyone!!!!

If I could rate Dr. Dempsey alone, this rating would be 10 stars; however, the front office staff makes that rating impossible. I’m usually not one to leave reviews but the customer service skills of the front office staff are absolutely ridiculous! I’ve had a few instances of poor customer service and have let it slide but this time took the cake!

My 17 year old son was taken to the office by his elderly grandma and they unfortunately forgot to bring his mask. He went into the office and was instructed to go back to the car to look for a mask. Thankfully, my mom had a used mask for him to use in the car (I'm not even going to go into how horrible it was for them to feel pressured to use a mask that had been already worn by someone else). They proceeded into the office and low and behold shortly after a young man approximately the same age as my son came in without a mask and was offered a mask by the front desk. The only difference between these two was ethnicity! I called to complain to the office manager and I was fed lies about how the young man’s appointment was right at that time and having him look for a mask would have resulted in him delaying other patients. However, my son was the one with an 11 am appointment and was taken back almost immediately while the other young man sat for 10 minutes in the waiting room.

To make matters worse, the office manager told me, they normally charge a dollar for masks and everyone is asked to look in their car. So, you mean to tell me most patients likely pay at least a few grand for braces and a complimentary mask can’t be provided to a minor?! How presumptuous to assume a minor or anyone for that matter would have a mask, let alone a clean mask, lying around in their car. We wear masks with no problem but from time to time mistakes happen!

Every medical facility I’ve ever been to have offered people masks with no charge and have them readily available for their patients, if needed. This isn’t a habit, this was an isolated incident. If we hadn’t invested so much money into treatment already, I would gladly take our business elsewhere. Again, Dr. Dempsey is amazing and I would have never left this review if the office staff could have been honest about what really happened instead of making excuses! The customer service of any office is truly what makes or breaks the patient experience.
