An Absolute Nightmare at Denver Place Dentistry

I have been a patient at Denver Place Dentistry for years due to its convenient location and a strong recommendation from a family friend. However, my recent experience with their teeth brightening service was absolutely revolting and has left me both upset and disgusted.

During my teeth brightening session this month, the dental assistant seemed to be having a bad day. During the process of removing the resin from my gums, she poked my gums with a sharp tool, causing significant pain and heavy bleeding. She pressed a swab to my bleeding gums without informing me until I realized something was wrong. It took several minutes for her to stop the bleeding, and I was eager to leave.

As I was heading out, the receptionist reminded the dental assistant that I had paid for dental trays. Despite my gut feeling telling me to leave, I decided to get the impression done to avoid returning. The dental assistant was visibly annoyed and performed a very painful tooth impression.

A couple of weeks later, I returned to pick up the trays. The receptionist handed me the kit without checking if the trays fit or opening the case. That evening at home, I opened the case and tried the bottom tray, but it did not fit; it was then I realized the bottom tray had an odd impression and appeared used, with some yellowish matter inside. The realization that I had put this disgusting tray in my mouth nearly made me sick.

This whole ordeal has been deeply troubling and unacceptable. While mistakes can happen, this incident felt deliberate. The injury to my gums, the painful impression, and the used trays suggest a complete disregard for patient care and hygiene. I have waited for a call back for an explanation and have yet to receive it.

Avoid Denver Place Dentistry at all costs. The lack of professionalism and basic sanitary practices is appalling, and no one should have to endure the nightmare I experienced.

DO NOT make an appointment with this dentist. In addition to other methods, they allow you to make reservations through the web. Apparently it is a third-party system that they don’t “check regularly“. Very unprofessional, especially if you were anxiously awaiting a needed dentist appointment. The dentist office made no accommodation for their mistake, offered no apologies despite the fact we received a confirmation email notice. If they are going to actively use a reservation system, they need to “check the system” for those patients using it. Highly unprofessional and would not trust this office.

I noticed a cavity at 11pm and they got me in at 7:30 am the next day. When I was frantically running late the office staff and doctors were super kind and understanding! I hadn't eaten anything and was worried about low blood sugar, so the dentist (Dr Klein) gave me his own yogurt so that I didn't faint! He also notice a tongue tie which could explain a lot of other medical issues, and I've seen a dozen dentists over the years and none has diagnosed that potential cause! 10/10

I have been going to Dr. Radz for 15 years now. Yes that is how amazing he is for all cosmetic and general dentistry needs. I am not the easiest client and he has always been so great at explaining the procedure and making my appointments pain free and easy. My front teeth are all veneers and after many years they are still beautiful. Thank you Dr. Radz and team for doing such incredible work.

It all started out great. I liked the hygienist and Dr. Radz. I had a tooth that was hurting and Dr. Radz filed it down and the ache went away. The hygienist did a great job every time I went. I went for about 2 years. Then my regular hygienist was out and the hygienist that filled in decided to do x-rays even though I had no complaints of any issues. I hadn't had a cavity for 10 years. I thought since it had been awhile since I had x-rays there wouldn't be any charge. I also felt that it was their job to know if I would be charged and to inform me before taking the x-rays. I wouldn't have authorized the x-rays if I knew I would be paying for them. I didn't see any reason for them. Well, sure enough they sent me a bill for the x-rays. When I complained Dr. Radz rudely told me they would not charge me for the x-rays but that going forward I should look for a new dentist. Then they kept billing me, sending me text and email reminders to come in for an appointment. I think Dr. Radz is a jerk and so is his billing staff.

Ha ha ha, after 7 years they reply. Sheesh

Wonderful experience! Dr. Dillow and her assistant are a delight and made me feel so comfortable on my visit.

They are good listeners and do great work. First time in a long time I left a dentist office more optimistic and hopeful. ☺️

I had a crown that popped off (it was one I've had for 10+ years so the cement likely wore down over time). My tooth was a bit sensitive and not having insurance, I was not sure where I should go that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. This place happens to be across the street from my apartment building. It had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. From the moment I called, the front office person (Andrea) is by far one of the friendliest, most professional, helpful and client-oriented people I've come across. I called on a Thursday and there wasn't an opening until Monday, which I was fine waiting for. However, she felt bad that I would have to go the weekend with tooth sensitivity and asked if I could make a same-day appointment. I was able to make it and was scheduled for that afternoon. I was quoted a reasonable price for the crown re-cement and appreciated Andrea going above and beyond to get me in sooner rather than later.

I was seen on time. The dentist, a younger woman from Illinois, was equally friendly, professional, explained the process and really created an upbeat and positive experience (if one can say that AT THE DENTIST!). All went well. It was uncomfortable but that's the nature of this (my crown was on my last molar in the back so not an easy thing to get put in). The dentist did try her best to easy any discomfort from the procedure.

I highly recommend his dentist office!
