My first interaction with Downey Dental was over 5 yrs ago when my Dad needed a root canal and no one would do it because he had cancer. This office took great care of my Dad. And now my Mom just finished her Dental journey and it makes me so happy to see how kind, patient and professional they are with her as well. Dr. Verdugo is wonderful.

I don't regret coming. Excellent professional service. Very kind staff and Dentist is kind and politely hears your concerns. I used to take my son elsewhere and I can't even mention her name because I'm very respectful because she still has a business to run but she is very unprofessional and her clinic is dirty and not up to date. Downey Dental Center has affordable prices. I'm very satisfied. Please come see for yourself you won't leave unhappy.

I had a very good experience at Downey Dental Center. My dentist (Dr. Feiz) explained everything I needed, and that was very helpful. I hadn't been to a dentist in 8 years and I was very nervous. Kudos to treatment specialist (Reyna Duena) for explaining the treatment recommended by my doctor, and I really appreciate her patience in doing so. She was very kind and understanding. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to others who are looking for a dentist. They also have several different departments (orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics...) all in one building.

I had a great experience at the periodontal department with Dr. Khorsandi. He did a fantastic job on my gums where I had no pain the next day. He’s very knowledgeable and does great work. I also really appreciate how friendly the staff are (Xóchitl, Sara and Reina). Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Downey Dental Center.

I have been going to this dentistry for the past few years and I love them. The whole team is fantastic and I am satisfied with my services. I would like to give a special recognition to Ms. Yvette Nunez who has been my treatment coordinator for a long time. She is so kind and really cares about her patients. She always makes me feel comfortable and right at home in her office. She is terrific!!

Crooks! Not the word I'd use, but if the shoes fit? Arrived on time for my initial appointment. After THIRTY MINUTES I was put in a dental chair, X-ray was done. Was left unattended for next THIRTY MINUTES!! Amazing!!! I could have died. Nobody cared!!!

I just left. Still, Nobody cared! Attitude is " I get paid anyway ".

This is very typical. They put profits over care, respect: They over Schedule, every 15, 20 minutes knowing this want work. But, if they get 6, 7, out of ten: they win ? $$!!!
We lose$$!!!!

I CAN DO BETTER!!! YOU CAN TOO!!

They are Crooks because they stole my time, and $$ going there!! This is a NO GO!

I'll try to be as fair as possible.
I was referred to this office by my dentist for 2 wisdom teeth extraction as my dental office doesn't have an oral surgeon. Long story short, they asked that I pay $1030 for the 2 extractions. $650 for the anesthesia that my insurance should already have covered and about $400 for a Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment. I argued that I didn't want to be sedated for this procedure and that the anesthesia should already be covered and their response was that I "might" get reimbursed by my insurance once the claim is filed. But my insurance does indeed cover the extraction along with the local anesthesia. On top of that, they required I do a PRP treatment which they told me would really help with my recovery and to help prevent infections. I would of course agree to it if it was covered under my insurance but most dental insurance plans don't and they're making me pay extra for it. Dr. Torres seemed very nice , personable and professional but to me the costs weren't justified and for that I give them 2 stars.
