This week my wife had dental implants done by Dr. Chris Winterholler. From our first meeting to discuss her options, to the day of surgery, and now with a couple of visits for bite adjustment, Dr. Chris and his staff have been excellent. He is an “out of the box” thinker and thus finds solutions to problems that other dentists may not consider. He also has a great staff and his office runs on schedule. We highly recommend Dr. Chris.

Recommendation. Nearly overnight my health began to improve as a result of the removal of my rotting and bleeding teeth. As my christian friends remind me, "If thy right eye offend thee..." It is better to save the patient. Digestion, blood work and weight loss! Also kudos to Jennifer at front desk for recommendation to the Mogollon Moose restaurant! Rare to find nutrition in a restaurant. Great nutritional support!

follow up 8 months... to answer your questions I can't really offer an opinion about the dental treatment at this clinic as I don't feel that I experienced any. Although the surgery met my primary objective it was sloppy. For three weeks after I suffered the pain of a splintered jaw bone sticking into my tongue. Even after reporting this during the removal of my stitches no one looked into it. I finally received clarification and relief from a visit to an oral surgeon not in Payson. The first set of implants I received were never comfortable, teeth were too big and installed too far forward causing me to constantly bite my lips. Eating was nearly impossible! In spite of the forfeiture of most of the money I paid, I refused to allow my procedure to continue at this clinic. My solutions have been elsewhere. It was an enormous and expensive disappointment.

...you are correct, I find that the affects of that issue are eased by realizing that these implants are in me but not of me.

...you're correct, that is because you lose your oral proprioception. They don't tell you that!

... test of time. As I've reported this procedure for me did not go as advertised. Aside from all of the early mistakes, even now I'm primarily on a liquid diet. Know what an immersion blender is? Can't live without it.

Just had another great visit for routine cleaning. On time, professional care and great service. Have been a customer for 7 years now and it's always been highly satisfactory dental care.
