Worst office staff I have ever dealt with. They first of all waited until the day before my surgery to try and verify my insurance and tell me how much it was going to cost, when they’ve had all my insurance information for 3 months when I first scheduled my appointment. Also Dr. Kahn was so impersonal and treated you like just a number and his help wasn’t any better. A couple days after my surgery I called them because I was still in a lot of pain and asked about what they could call in that would help for pain but not be hydrocodone, she told me to call my regular dentist and hung up on me. I would never recommend anyone to this office for any type of procedure.

I had a molar extracted by Dr. Kahn, I'm a person who has extreme anxiety and panic attacks, I opted to have iv sedation for the procedure, Dr. Kahn and his staff took excellent care of me and i didn't feel any discomfort and didn't realize the tooth was even out, a job well done! Would highly recommend Dr. Kahn, he's very caring, takes his time and really goes the extra mile to make sure your comfortable. Thanks!!

Dr. Kahn is the only person I would trust with oral or facial surgery, hands down. He is absolutely the BEST!! My orthodondist, Jeremy Mckinney, referred me to him when I was only 15 yrs old for TMJ.

He did my upper and lower TMJ reconstructive surgery in 2005. Before the surgery my jaw would lock up for hours at a time --scary right? Dr Kahn alleviated all my problems with top priority care. 15 years later after major surgery, my jaw is still doing FABULOUS!!!!! Dr Kahn and his staff go above and beyond.

I took my daughter to have a baby tooth removed for braces. Dr. Kahn and his staff were very friendly and made sure all our questions were answered. He made my little girl feel right at home despite the scariness of being put to sleep and having surgery!

If I could give no stars, I would. I came from Huntsville Al because apparently no one in huntsville does TMJ surgery. My usual oral surgeon recommended Dr Kahn. When I scheduled my appt I asked them what I needed to bring. They said insurance card, license, and a copy of my X-ray. When they called to confirm the appointment I asked again what I needed to bring since I’d be driving over two hours to get there. They said the same. Well when I arrived for my appt, I was with Dr Kahn maybe 10 mins, he poked around in my cheek, questioned if my bite and way of life was actually being affected since it didn’t seem “that bad” and basically said I needed an MRI before he could prescribe anything or treat me. I have switched from eating solid food to mostly eating soup which has offered some relief, but I’m still in pain and if I ever eat solid food or have to talk a lot for work, my issues are more severe, and I explained that, but he didn’t seem to take me seriously. At reception, they told me it could take insurance up to two weeks to approve the MRI, then I’d have to get the MRI done, come BACK to Bessemer for another visit, then schedule surgery if needed after that. In the meantime, I’m in terrible excruciating pain and they can’t give me anything for relief until I can get the mri done.

My problem is not that I have to have an mri, it’s the fact that he knew he couldn’t treat anything unless I had that done. I could’ve scheduled an MRI before I came for the initial appointment. But now I will have to wait around for 2-4 weeks before I can get proper treatment and pain relief. I wasted my time and money on a visit and feel like they just wanted that extra copay money. I do not recommend this office especially for people out of town. I will be going elsewhere and will not return.

All the nurses were extremely amazing and Dr. Kahn was incredible. They are very honest and caring!!😊😊When it comes to work being done to your teeth and pain management, they ROCKED it!! Thank you all for the way I was treated.
