I would only recommend Dr. Wu's office if you live nearby for the convenience and if you are okay with getting scammed. It is my fault I kept going to this office for almost 2 years and during my regular twice a year cleanings, she found ways to upsell me on random treatments and procedures every single time I visited. From night guards that don't fit to potential mysterious spot that could be cancer scares, I'm done with her practice. Just because I live in the area doesn't mean I'm a retired tech founder/c suite with money to support small dental practices.

Dr. Wu takes advantage of your trust in her to pressure you to receive unnecessary treatment. During a visit I overheard a dental hygienist pushing back on her to let her know that it should be the patient's decision to proceed with a treatment and not hers. I found that dental hygienist to be no longer working there.

Another example, from 1 cleaning to other in the same year, which is around a 6 month timespan, she found several new cavities which surprised me. Her only reasoning was that it happens with a change of diet like when kids go off to college. However, I am in my mid-30s and limit sweets/candy in my diet. This reasoning is crazy. All in all, I needed a new crown procedure and multiple cavity treatments, ending up with a +$700 bill on top of my insurance (I work in healthcare and have pretty solid insurance). Lastly for the longest time I ended up pay $5 for PPE charges and was charged for new toothbrushes.

Overall, if you still choose to go to this practice, I would get a second opinion if you are ever recommended extensive procedures. Please avoid the mistake I made by trusting Dr. Wu and her practice as there are several dentists in the area that will not try to squeeze you of your hard earned money.

Dr. Wu and her dental assistants and hygienist have provided the BEST Dental care my family and I have ever received. I have seen many Dentists over the years and have had a hard time trusting Dentists due to past experiences. Dr. Wu is honest, gentle, caring, professional and she does excellent work. She is highly skilled. She took very good care of my daughters top front tooth after an accident and it looks beautiful and she beautifully matched the cap with my daughter’s other teeth. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Dr. Wu for taking such good care of me and my family.

Dr. Wu and her staff are the best. I have been going to her for several years and she is the best at what she does. She is very caring, personal and professional and gives the best advice about how to promote good dental care. Worried about finances don’t because Dr Wu will work with you and she doesn’t do this just for the money she really cares about you getting the best for your dental health!! Her hygienist is of the same caliber as is her front office Dena and back office Stephanie. They greet you withe sane professionalism and caring attitude and they make you feel very comfortable especially for seeing a Dentist!! I highly recommend this office.

Dr Deanna Wu is fantastic! She is very diligent, attentive to detail and truly cares about her patients. After getting fillings in, she sent a message later to follow up and to check how I was feeling which is a testament to her having the patient’s best interest in mind. Highly recommend!
