I have been using Dr. Gissendaner for a few years now. She is an excellent Dentist. Her staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very home like and inviting. But the experience I would like to share with you is this, she kept me from doing something that I believe most dentist would have just went ahead and accommodated most of their patients request or demands. I came to her office hurting very bad requesting her to pull out my remaining two wisdom teeth on the left side thinking they were causing me pain. Now mind you my teeth are not in bad shape and my wisdom teeth came in straight as an arrow and have never given me problems. Dr. Gissendaner checked them for me anyway and refused to pull them out. She told me that I needed to go see Neurologist because it appeared to her that I may have some nerve damage in my face. Well, I took her advise and went the next day and she was dead on the money. I have an issue called Trimenagal Nerolgia which is a painful syndrome that leads many people to see their dentist having their teeth removed in the early stages of this disorder or syndrome. Without going into it that far, lets just say this lady saved a whole head full of teeth in my head because I was hurting bad enough to have them removed thinking this was the problem. I have had only three cavities my whole life and my teeth are as straight as an arrow. I will continue to use this Dentist for as long as she remains in our area. If you are looking for a doctor give her a try, you won't be sorry and I think you will be mostly impressed with the full staff she has and the services she provides.
