No one wants to get a root canal, but I was deeply grateful to be cared for by Dr. Le and her compassionate staff when I needed one. Dr. Le and her staff were extremely responsive, supportive, communicative and kind, and I truly couldn't have asked for better care

I was referred to Dr. Le's practice 8 months ago with an intermittent toothache. Her staff got me into the office within a day or two, and Dr. Le assessed the tooth. She found my tooth was sensitive, but so were all the others, so she said she didn't feel comfortable doing a root canal then, and to come back when I was feeling more substantial pain.

8 months later the toothache returned, this time much more severe. My dentist referred me back to Dr Le for another consultation. By the time she assessed it, the tooth was NOT sensitive at all to pain, which indicated the root had died.

I was a bit of a wreck the day I went in for the 2nd consultation, so I asked Dr. Ley to explain everything she said twice just to be sure I understood it. I even asked her to test the tooth 1 more time after she explained her diagnosis the 2nd time. She was very patient and reassured me that, yes, the root was dead and I really did need a root canal.

Her office staff walked me through the procedure she recommended and explained what the cost would be. They were also very patient, and gave me options to maximize my insurance coverage.

I came back the next week for stage 1 of the root canal. Apparently I have very long and curvy roots, so part one took 1 1/2 hours of careful drilling through my crown and down into the roots. While it was not a comfortable procedure, I felt NO PAIN. Dr. Ley explained what she was going to do at each step, spoke kindly throughout, and her assistant was calm and reassuring.

At the end of part 1 I was given instructions on how to take care of myself after the procedure, and Dr. Le’s staff called me the next day to see how I was feeling--both very comforting.

A week later I went back for stage 2 of the root canal. Stage 2 took 2 hours and again, was somewhat uncomfortable, but I felt NO PAIN. In addition to drilling out the root, Dr. Ley does a fancy deep clean with a machine. I didn't track all the steps because by this point, I felt deep trust in her expertise and was just glad to relax in the chair. Again, the staff was lovely as I left, and I felt very well cared for. The next day one of the staff again called to ask how I was feeling.

Throughout the whole process, from 8 months earlier to the conclusion of my root canal, Dr. Ley and her staff were exceedingly professional and competent, and also, exceedingly responsive and patient. They answered every question I had both in the office and on the phone and communicated back with me by voice mail and text to follow up. For once in my life, I didn't bother to compare reviews for a practitioner before going to see them (who has time when they need a root canal); however, I was very glad I'd been referred to her, and have the highest recommendation for her and her team.

(Note #1: When I went for the initial consultation, unbeknownst to me, there was an outstanding part of the bill my insurance hadn't covered; when I went back to the 2nd time, they said if I paid the outstanding amount, they WOULD NOT CHARGE ME for another consultation exam!!! And Dr. Le had charged me a total of $220 LESS than what the insurance company said would be my portion. Amazing!)

(Note #2: I am very Covid conscious, and called before going in for the assessment both times. The first time, all of the staff was masked; the second time, staff had masks around their necks, and when I walked in and they saw I was masked, they put on their masks. When I sat down, I noticed that my chart was marked "N95" and Dr. Le was careful to put on an N95 when she came to assess my tooth, and she definitely wore an N95 during the procedure. This is in contrast to my regular dentist whose staff told me they didn't stock N95's in the office, and where none of the front office staff mask at all)

No words to describe my experience in this office. They are professional, friendly, caring, great listeners, clean, courteous, and most importantly teamwork. Dr Le has the hands of a feather, and never disappointed with this office services. 14+ years and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. I can’t leave out the OUTSTANDING assistants that office has CLASS A Ladies!

Dr. Fern Le was wonderful! She is thoughtful, thorough, and professional. She walked me through the procedure step-by-step showed me the x-rays and let me know my options. She let me know what she was working on the whole way through the procedure and how much time we had left. She was patient and very considerate making sure I was comfortable. I had a significant amount of bone loss around my tooth but with Dr Fern’s expertise and the Gentle Wave machine we were able to save my tooth!
If I ever need another Root Canal I will return and if any friends or family need an endodontist I will definitely recommend Dr Fern Le.

I had never been to an endodontist in my life before 3 weeks ago when I was referred to Dr. Le. From the moment I walked into the office I was treated professionally by all the staff I interacted with. The dental procedures to be done were clearly articulated and the costs were detailed and clearly presented. Dr. Le was extremely competent, with an excellent "bedside" manner. She completed the first procedure as scheduled, and after going over the post procedure instructions from her staff I left for home feeling confident that what she had done was performed with the highest level of expertise. I returned the following Monday for the root canal portion of the procedure, and received the exact same high level of quality care. I don't write reviews often, but I have to state I couldn't have had a better experience or outcome than with Dr. Fern Le. Highly recommended.

I recently had a root canal at Dr. Le's office, and I don't know what percentage of patients worldwide have a good or bad experience with that type of procedure. All I can say is the team that Dr. Le has built and herself included helped me thru a potentially unpleasant procedure. I left her office in no pain and I didn't have to take any after I left. They took care of me with great concern and I will recommend people that I come across in need of that category of service,(even my worst enemy,out of compassion). Thank you,Dr.Fern

When you have this kind of work done, the way you are treated can be as important as the procedure itself.

From the first minute in the office, I felt well-taken care of — Vivian was kind and welcoming and guided me in the right direction.

Dr Le was efficient and very friendly and took extra steps to make sure that my tooth could be saved. Even the assistants were smoothe, capable and organized.

The office also went an extra step to schedule the necessary followup appointment with my dentist. When I researched the office before going, I thought that the procedure might cost a lot, since it seemed that they do a lot of extra work. But it was actually affordable.

One of the biggest issues with root canal is pain; in this case, there was no pain to speak of.

If you need a root canal, I highly recommend Dr Le.

First of all, the aesthetics of the office are professional, clean and up-to-date. The clerical experience is streamline and efficient without a ton of paperwork but instead, everything is done electronically. They are helpful and friendly on the phone with making appointments and asking question. And the equipment they use in the office seems top-of-the-line too! But most of all, the quality of care is outstanding by Dr. Fern. She is kind and gentle and is highly capable of assessing and addressing your dental issues with precision and care. I'm grateful that my general dentist referred me there.
