Tuesday, April 9, 2024 I had a 8:45am appointment with Dr. Berkley to have my wisdom tooth removed. I arrived at 8:45am to fill out paperwork and consent forms. I told them that my Dental insurance was Delta and that they do not give out cards. I was referred to them by my primary dentist office which they were fully aware of two months prior from this appointment today. The young lady behind the desk in a very unprofessional demeanor and voice told me I would have to pay full price if I did not have a card. I called my dentist office and was able to get the account ID number from them. I go to the back to sit down in the chair where the procedure would take place. Dr. Berkley enters the room without even looking at me, introducing himself or saying hello. He proceeds to ask me would I like laughing gas or just novicaine? I told him I needed the gel first to numb my gums then I would like the novocaine, which he did. He pulled my tooth out and walked out the room immediately afterwards stating my roots were long. I told the Dental Assistant that was in the room that I would need for Dr. Berkley to write a prescription for 600mg of Motrin she turned around and looked at me with a frown on her face and stated he usually does not give out prescriptions for motrin, You don't have any at home? I said after having a wisdom tooth removed at 58 years old I better get a prescription.Needless to say I did receive a script for motrin. You would have thought that I was asking for percocet or valium by the rude manner and tone of her voice when she addressed me. This place is unprofessional, I will not reccomend anyone to come here. The vibe at this office is petty, unprofessional, rude and catty.

The office staff was very rude and unprofessional. I could literally hear them talk about a patient in the waiting room. Every time the phone rang, they would scoff or swear even. I waited for an hour and twenty minutes to be seen for a wisdom teeth extraction consultation. The day of the surgery, they fought with me saying I didn’t agree to nitrous gas even though I had a signed form consenting to it. They seriously almost started the surgery with two impacted teeth with just novocaine. The office also told me that insurance would not cover it. They called me the day before the surgery telling me that insurance will only cover half of the surgery. Which is fine, but not 24 hours prior to my surgery. I called my primary dentist as soon as I was able and told them my complaints about this office. They took them off their referral list.

The surgery and after care went very smoothly but the unprofessionalism in the office was just astonishing. I do not recommend this office.

I have had two implants done by Dr. Berkley. He is an amazing oral surgeon. My implants were done 5 years and 2 years ago and both feel and look like my own teeth. Work is impeccable.

Very poor service from dr. Berkley. Received substandard care. Terrible communication and I would not recommend this office. Bedside manner and the entire practice is really poor.
