Went to another dentist after receiving 3 of 6 fillings I was told I needed only to be told I don't need fillings for those three and that my tooth was polished down too far during my fillings here(causing me to be unhappy with my new smile and have a noticeable difference vs the other side) and the new dentist had concerns about how my fillings here were done. The doctor was condescending and rude during all but my first visit. Use community health centers, medi-cal dental etc for low cost dental, stay away from out of network mediocre reviewed Groupon special dentistry (a whole 'nother story).

Went to Dr. Burch for a problem with a tooth but he suggested root canal be done in a totally unrelated tooth in which I had no problems at all. (No pain and no trouble eating) Got the unnecessary root canal done and now I have pain in that tooth and not to mention the excessive costs (both monetary and mental) associated with getting that redundant root canal done.

Dr Burch and his staff were fantastic! I came in for my dental exam, x-ray and cleaning today, and couldn't be more pleased as I left the office with a big grin on my face! It's always daunting going to a dentist, not knowing if today is "the day" where they try to pull something out of your mouth. Instead, I was greeted warmly from the start! The nurse and receptionist (Jaimie) are both wonderful and kind, putting me at ease as I wait for Dr. Burch.

As all the other reviewers have mentioned, Dr. Burch is truly a great dentist! Kind and funny, he was very knowledgeable and explained my X-ray results and recommended treatment in depth. The cleaning was thorough, and the nurse buffed my teeth after cleaning was over.

Overall a very pleasant experience and I'm so glad I found Dr. Burch!

Dr. Burch is fast yet invests the time to really teach you in detail how your dental status relates to a range of potential general medical risk factors both short- and long-term. Like anyone, I've experienced my fair share of dentists over the years but he goes the extra mile, and is frank and honest to boot. I strongly recommend him.

When was the last time you had a really great conversation? My mom recommended Dr. Burch for me for cleanings and fillings, and I have found the time spent in the office enjoyable and relaxing. I am so grateful I found Dr. Burch. He and his whole team are top-notch; they are truly experts in their field. Treatment is never rushed and very gentle. If you are scared of going to the dentist like I was, trust me, you are in expert hands here. I trust them and found appointents extremely relaxing. Our conversations are always great and memorable. That is a rare thing these days, which is why I will always be a loyal client. I travel and move for work, but since I discovered this office, I don't let anyone else in my mouth and have flied in for appointments from Washington DC, Texas, Portland, Kabul and Seoul. THANK YOU DR. Burch!! 5 Stars!

be careful of this sham. Basically, they trick you to come with a cheap Groupon deals and once you are here they will tell you-you to have serious teeth problem and refuse to fulfill the service on groupon. My real experience: I bought basic teeth cleaning cos I have a teeth whitening schedule tomorrow, after they took x-ray and examine, I got told that i have deadly teeth problem and need to pay $1200 instead for a "deep cleaning" Real quote from John Burch: you can die from heart disease if you don't do that deep cleaning." I then said i just need the basic cleaning as what i signed up for from this Groupon, they refused to do say I have to pay $1200 for a "deeper cleaning " first, real quote from John Burch " its like you bought a massage on groupon and once you are there they found you have cancer so they won't do massage without your cancer is treated" . He also made insulting comments like " you have the money to pay the tuition in Stanford, you don't have the money to deep clean your teeth" I said i cannot afford $1200 exactly because I have to my student loan! He then said, " you just said you will do teeth whitening, you have money to do that and You won't take care of your teeth health here?" I said ok then since you cannot fulfill the service I bought then pls refund me, they refused and ask me to leave "I am going to asking you to leave, obviously you are not listening to me" or they threaten to call the police ( by the time I left turned out they have the guts to called police as I saw cop's car" ) . They also said they won't refund me and ask Groupon to refund. Just stay away and be careful, I won't let this to get away and I will report this experience to Better Business Beaurue! also, my appointment was 2 pm and by 2:45 pm there are already other patients waiting so obviously it is all planned ahead ( cos the teeth cleaning and x-ray and exam as the Groupon entailed will definitely take longer than 1 hr. So just be careful and stay away.!

What an amazing dentist. Great personality and sense of humor. He made me laugh so much. He is very knowledgeable as a dentist and gave me some great pointers on how to care for my gums and teeth. I went in with a Groupon and he did not try to sell me any additional unnecessary services. I'm bringing my whole family to him.

John is extremely knowledgeable as he was a dental professor. He could see what's coming 10 years from now, and I think that's why there are some negative reviews about him giving unnecessary treatments. But the bottom line is he could help you avoid future problems now which will actually save you more money down the road, and of course troubles too!
