Dr. Lau explained every step of the procedure in detail, which really put me at ease. The surgery itself was quick and efficient, and I felt confident knowing I was in skilled hands. The recovery process has been smooth, thanks to Dr. Lau’s clear instructions and follow-up care.

Writing this review on behalf of my dad who got multiple extractions done last week. I accompanied him to his appointment.

We highly recommend Dr. Lau and his team, who were referred by my dad’s dentist. From start to finish, we had a pleasant and smooth experience. My dad needed extractions done, and they were able to squeeze us in only a couple days after our initial call. Dr. Lau was very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. Customer service was outstanding, staff were friendly and professional, and the office was impeccably clean. Furthermore, I had let them know in advance I had an appointment in San Francisco later that same day, and they finished with the procedure way ahead of schedule, which allowed me to make my appointment with plenty of time to spare. Dr. Lau also gave clear post-op instructions and followed up with us the next day and a week later. We’ll definitely be returning for any future oral surgery needs!

Got my teeth extracted by Dr. Lau recently. It's been a smooth experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Dr. Lau for extraction works.

My lower right widsdom tooth was causing trouble for the other one next to it. It left a big crack on its neighbor which gave me a lot of pain. I have been searching around for doctors to handle my problem. Other clinics I visited either tried to sell me deep cleaning treatment which made it hard to follow what is essential for my case, or gave me vague price quote without itemized breakdown.

I was very impressed with Dr. Lau during the consultation visit. Unlike any other consultations, Dr. Lau walked me through my situation with 3D visualized CT scan which showed the tooth structure, neural layout around the affected area. He has pointed out the only necessary work is to extract those 2 teeth which were beyond save. He gave detailed explanation on further treatments after the extraction (leave it open or tooth implant). Throughout the visit there was no push on selling unnecessary services. I was given a detailed itemized quote with all treatment codes, insurance coverage, out of pocket calculation listed clearly at the end of my visit. I felt well informed for both medical and financial details from Dr. Lau. Greatly appreciate the transparancy.

I was able to get a fast surgery appointment within 1 week after the consultation. Dr. Lau has provided detailed instruction for pre-surgery checklist. I was given IV sedation which put me to sleep during the surgery. The whole extraction work was painless. After the surgery I was given a nice package with complimentary pain killer pills, post-surgery recovery checklist with recommendations for eating/drinking/mouth cleaning etc. Dr. Lau was very careful where he made a follow phone call around 9pm on the same day after surgery to make sure I was feeling OK and received all the recovery instructions I'd need.

As this is my first tooth extraction experience, I was expecting lots of pain after the sedation effect faded away post surgery. But to my surprise, I had little pain (nearly 0 pain) from the stitched area in my mouth. I only took 1 Ibprofen pill on the night after surgery. No more pain killer ever since and it's been no painful feeling nor too much swelling during my 7 days recovery (Which I assumed it was Dr. Lau's good technique). The stiching thread became automatically disolved on my 8th days after the surgery. And I am happily eating and drinking with my painless teeth right now.

I am very pleased to work with Dr. Lau on my tooth extraction. I will definitely return to the clinic for implant works later. Also shoutout to all the staffs from Dr. Lau's office. They are very responsive with appointment scheduling, billing paper work handling and more. Highly recommend Dr. Lau to anyone with tooth extraction needs!

Excellence is one of the main words to describe Dr. Lau’s professionalism . His competency and knowledge are outstanding but his modesty, kindness, and compassion are standouts. The manner in which he approached treating my 85-year old father was the sweetest thing. I was recent a patient of Dr. Lau. I’ve had previous fears of the dentist due a past experience with another practice that was extremely painful. Given my worries, I’m glad to have been referred to Dr. Lau and his team as they are professionals in every sense. He extracted my 2 top wisdom teeth. I was able to be fully sedated and put to sleep for the procedure. I was extremely comfortable post operation and the recovery was seamless. I will recommend Dr. Lau to anyone in the Bay Area looking for a top tier oral surgeon.

I had such a fantastic experience at Dr. Lau’s Office! Upon entering the office, you are greeted with very polite service! The office is nice, clean, and relaxing. The secretaries are also very polite and make the paperwork a piece of cake. As per the surgery, it was a smooth experience! Dr. Lau’s team made me feel very comfortable, checking on me often to ensure comfort. Once the anesthesia was administered, I quickly fell asleep, waking up as if nothing happened. The surgery was a success, and my mouth did not hurt at all! Dr. Lau is a very good oral surgeon, and is the best in the west! I don’t know what I would do without Dr. Lau. I recommend him to anyone who has some wisdom teeth they need to get out. 11/10!
