I have been to MANY DIFFERENT DENTISTS and I have to say that the only ones I trust ALL THE WAY 100% are Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran. They are a 2-hour round trip drive from my house so I have made the mistake of going to dentists CLOSER to where I live out of convenience for a couple of cleanings.

When I had done this, I noticed another dentist said that I needed a ROOT CANAL but after getting a second opinion from Dr. Nguyen, he told me I only needed a deep filling. I had Dr. Nguyen do the work on me, and it turns out he was right! I just needed a deep filling (not a root canal)!

I told Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran that I will make the 2-hour commute to see them for my dental needs from now on!

Not only are they trustworthy, but their services are also affordable! Their assistants and receptionists are also very friendly. Oh I forgot to mention, I have high anxiety when I go to the dentist! My body will literally tremble. But with the uplifting music in the office and Dr. Tran’s soothing prayers, I am able to relax and feel trust that I am in good hands!

I had an outstanding experience at 1st Lathrop Dental! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. Dr. Tran was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. The office is modern and clean, and they use the latest technology, which made my procedure quick and painless. I didn’t even have to move rooms for my X-Rays. I appreciate the time they took to explain everything and ensure I was comfortable. I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for top-notch dental care!

It was my first time at First Lathrop Dental and I had a great experience from the ladies at the front desk to the hygienist and Dr. Tran. Everyone explained everything very well and I understood exactly what was going to be happening. I had x rays and cleaning which were not uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to making First Lathrop Dentist my family's dentist! Highly recommend to check them out!

Amazing staff and amazing service! I have of anxiety about going to the dentist but Dr. Tran and Xochi were amazing. Their welcoming & calm energy made me feel so much more comfortable. Receptionist Jucel even sent me home with a delicious coffee! Highly recommend this dental office!

Dental rooms are aesthetically nice and calming. Love the Christian background and music. Could be clearer on cost of everything altogether beforehand seeing as everything is expensive. You have to let them know to be more gentle at times like numbing.

Super friendly place , due to previous dental history I dislike the dentist but they made me feel right at home , very careful around the mouth and lips , they check in to make sure you are doing fine while getting work done. xochitl is amazing she is also fluent in Spanish which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend.

Everyone was really nice they were Christian and I took comfort in that. The main problem was that Jackie who was also kind gave me untruthful information I asked when I first called if they are in network for delta Dental ppo and she said they were after not seeing them on deltas website I went into office to talk to her and she kinda talked in circlesshe said she called just to make sure and gave me the number . I called once again and they said they are not ppo only premire and I called Jackie and after going in circles again she said well you pay less with premiere and I said Ive had ppo for 31 years and that's absolutely not true and she said if you're not comfortable I will cancel your appts and I said please do. My only problem is make sure youre in network with premiere because if you're ppo you will pay their fees and if youre ppo with delta or any other insurance it will save you hundreds of dollars depending on what your having done in my case its a root canal and crown.
