I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Florida Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel at ease with their professionalism and friendliness.

Dr. Shapiro was absolutely phenomenal! I had all four wisdom teeth removed, and the entire process was smooth, quick, and practically painless. Dr. Shapiro took the time to explain the procedure, address my concerns, and ensure I was comfortable every step of the way. His expertise and calming demeanor truly made a difference.

The recovery instructions were clear, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything went. I genuinely felt cared for throughout the experience, and I can’t thank Dr. Shapiro and his team enough for their excellent care.

If you’re nervous about oral surgery, I highly recommend this practice. They deliver outstanding results with compassion and professionalism.

I work across from Dr.tendlers office. Recently having a car accident I was told to see a maxi facial surgeon. Always hearing great reviews from him, I decided to visit his office. I saw Dr.T which was professional and very knowledgeable.
The front desk is very nice and welcoming and the assistants were comforting. I recommend this practice to each and everyone ! Thank you !!

I love Dr. Shapiro and his whole medical staff! They were all so pleasant and made me feel so comfortable throughout my whole medical visit. They were professional, kind, and very delicate towards their patients, and all to ensure their safety and make their experience a breeze. I am always so nervous, especially when it comes to surgeries, being my first time; but here I just felt like I was in good hands and had gained trust, as I was cared for so properly. Overall, it went great and have no complaints. I recommend 10/10!

My 19 year old was in need of wisdom teeth extractions due to the teeth being impacted. We received a referral to Florida Center O & M S from our dentist at Cooper City Dental.

My son was scheduled immediately, an accurate estimate for oral surgery was given & the surgery was on-time & completed relatively quickly to my surprise.

Dr. Shapiro was informative regarding after-care steps & the series of medications necessary for proper healing. I did ask quite a few questions so we wouldn’t have miss-steps or any miscommunication regarding at home aftercare. Dr. Shapiro looked slightly perplexed by all my questions but I was really glad I asked about the protocol in depth because the kind nurse escorted my son to the car afterwards but didn’t give us his “bag.” I quickly realized he actually didn’t have the prescriptions in hand or gauze we’d discussed & she had to return to retrieve those while we waited in the parking lot as they were forgotten. (Although the drive home wasn’t too far, I really wouldn’t have wanted to make a return trip because of that mis-step which would’ve necessitated leaving my son alone after his procedure for awhile.) Nonetheless, everything else was perfect & that helped keep my stress level down.

My son hasn’t experienced too much pain & had his first solid food yesterday. I’m very satisfied with the services, kind staff & excellent outcome we’ve experienced to date. My son’s follow-up is in 3 days. 👍 (If waiting for a patient having surgery, I’d HIGHLY recommend taking ear pods or ear phones so you don’t have to hear other patients’ financial obligations and/or personal problems as the front desk & payment area are directly adjacent to the waiting room & for me, I didn’t want to overhear those personal conversations, but did even with earphones…).

In summary, parking is convenient, staff is very skilled & the office is newer & pristine which is what you’d expect for a surgical center. The Dr. even texted my son to check-in w him & make sure he was doing well during his recuperation; excellent! I highly recommend!

I'm a high schooler who got all four wisdom teeth removed here and it was a great experience!!!! Dr. Shapiro and the staff are really easy to get along with and they made the whole procedure more comfortable. The ambience was also just relaxing in general, including the music, and doesn't feel too overwhelming. I most definitely recommend this place to anyone else getting their wisdom tooth removal surgery.

Dr thesis is an amazing person good doctor and personable. He was very kind, calm and collected exactly what you would hope for from a doctor. He explained the entire wisdom tooth procedure perfectly and made sure to answer every question with recover process. The assistants were also very fun to be around and did everything properly.

All the staff were very professional & welcoming. The services provided were very affordable. I had my wisdom teeth removed and the procedure took a little under an hour and the recovery was painless. Dr. Theiss is by far the best and his staff as well.
