Dr. Brown went out of his way to research an alternative option for my condition—something I wouldn’t have found on my own. That recommendation has truly been life-changing. I’m so grateful for his thoroughness, compassion, and willingness to look beyond the standard solutions to find what actually works.

Excellent doctors and staff! I've been going to Dr. Brown and Jeff Atkinson for over a year and have never had a bad experience. Attentive providers who actually listen and care about me. Thank you all for making every visit pleasant and for the accessibility of early morning appointments. A+++ rating from me.

Dr. Brown is a sweet kind doctor and I believe he's good but I will never know because his staff is not very interested in helping the patient. I saw his PA with the hair and I tried to explain to him what I needed done for my pain from my past experiences and he kept telling me that won't work or the insurance won't cover it. I told him I had my last 3 years of medical history proving what I had done. He still dismissed me. I went home and found the pages specifically to the the time, dates and procedures and contacted his assistant and explained everything to him and I still never heard from the scheduler. I gave up and found a doctor that listened to me and I got my two RFA for both sides of my back. Southwest Spine listened and helped me in every way and my insurance paid for it.
Maybe if you didn't spend so much time on your hair and humble yourself you could maybe be a successful PA.

Dr. Brown was very attentive, asked great questions, was empathetic to my pain and was hopeful in his prescriptions and even gave further steps to serve me down the road as I progress through my rehabilitation

Dr Brown and his staff are first class. He zeroed in on the problem with my wife’s back pain after reviewing X-ray and MRI. His exam was thorough and unhurried. The plan he shared was explained well and made sense. A great doctor.

I went in to see if I could get some help with a chronic back and neck problem and both Dr Brown and his PA Jeff Atkinson were very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. They asked me a lot of questions along with the exam. They referred me to an excellent physical therapist who was very good. Sadly, that didn't help my solve my problems yet so I will be back with Dr Brown to see if other procedures might help.

I’ve seen Dr Brown and the other doctor both once and the office visits were fine with the doctors but the medical assistants are poorly trained and when you’ve been in acute pain since before Thanksgiving the staffing problem being inadequate is too exasperating.
The front desk tries but you have to call and wait numerous times each time you try to get through. I’ve had a signed note from another specialist saying I am clear for the epidural for 17 days. Dr Browns staff said I needed an approval from my insurance to get the epidural so when they said they were working on it I assumed that would be the truth. I would call periodically explaining I had fell and been in the ER two additional times. The staff did nothing for 4 days. They said they were on the phone with my insurance 40 minutes and couldn’t get through which I question. I have had Select Health for decades and have never had an issue reaching them for both myself or as an owner of a private practice with two locations and have gotten through. After being told 2 more times they couldn’t reach my insurance I called my insurance myself and learned that Dr Browns office had never called my insurance. I called back Dr Brown’s office to get the medical billing code so my insurance could answer the question which takes longer to get through than to my insurance. Got the billing code from the front desk. Called back my insurance and learned I’d been waiting all these weeks for no reason my insurance doesn’t require a pre authorization. When I called back to schedule the procedure they told me I couldn’t because I didn’t have a authorization number from my insurance. When I said I didn’t need one the medical assistant tried to tell me I needed to call my insurance again. I told them,”no” I’ve already done their job twice today and I wasn’t going to waste anymore of my time doing their job. When I asked to speak to the doctor for one minute just to say basically I know your a new practice but your staff is not doing their job and it’s going to hurt your profits the front desk said okay and put me on hold and the medical assistant Jamie was abrasive and told me Dr Brown wouldn’t speak to me unless I scheduled an appointment with him. Dr. Brown I hope you care about your patients enough to read your Google reviews. You took an oath to help patients and my neurosurgeons staff was willing to send a referral to another pain doctor to fast track me into getting into another pain specialist significantly sooner next week. Doesn’t look good when a neurosurgeons office has more time than your staff. I also ended up calling my insurance 7 times today to find another pain specialist and spent less time than your medical assistance in the total of 7 calls. Finally when I see Dr Kennedy next my primary, I will share that it’s not in his best interest to send patients to your office. The only reason I tried your office is because Dr Kennedy said you were new to his office building. I want doctors who genuinely care about their patients and have staff that don’t treat their patients as less.
