Dr. Yau is a super duper awesome orthodontist; she came highly recommended by my primary dentist (who is also great) when I asked him for suggestions as to who I can see about getting my braces done. I'm really glad he's told me about Dr. Yau's practice as I'm pleased with the progression of my teeth placement improvements, and it helps that she is an extremely friendly and capable doctor. I cannot recommend her enough myself now that I've seen firsthand what sort of magic she's done with my teeth, and would urge anyone looking for an orthodontist to consider Dr. Yau. 😼🔥🔥🔥🌟

My son was referred to Dr. Jennifer Yau by our dentist five years ago. The treatment was smooth and pleasing. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. So when I decided to straighten my teeth, I just went to her office and asked for suggestions. I started my treatment two years ago and almost finished. Last year, my daughter also needed orthodontic treatment so I took her to see Dr. Yau and started the treatment right away. Every time when there’s something wrong with my daughter's bracket or wire, they always tried to fix it as soon as possible. I’m very happy with the treatment results and it is a very happy experience for me and my kids.

I got my braces done here, and I highly recommend this place! The service is always awesome, from the desk clerks to the techs. Everything is very punctual, I've never waited more than 2 minutes, and the appointments are done quickly without being rushed. All the staff are super duper friendly, and the office is always tidy and never noisy. Dr Yau always explains the process and reasoning very well, so I'm never confused about how long or why something is happening. My brother went here as well, and he always speaks highly of the experience as well!

Jennifer Yau's behavior is concerning.

First, she dropped me as a patient for writing a review on Google, unethically (I will be contacting the dental board).

Then, she coached a patient on what to write in a review. Take a look at the review(s) after mine; it's obvious that the doctor and her unethical office instructed a patient on what to say in the review.

The review I specifically am referring to is manipulated and has been used as a tool to manipulate reviews on here to mitigate anything negative, Shaking my head.

Seriously sad on their end. Also, keep in mind that this doctor had bias. Just because she treated certain people well does not mean she gave the same treatment to everyone.

Below is my first review :

I do not like the fact this office is only open 3 days out of the week I have been in extreme pain over how my braces have been tightened and don't think I had to suffer several days before the office reopened. Not sure what doctor does this to a patient but I'm very unhappy over how I have been treated.

I had not planned to leave feedback; however, my discomfort and dissatisfaction compelled me to provide my perspective.

As a patient, I have found the need for comprehensive explanations regarding procedures and what I perceive as unequal attention and care disconcerting.

It is disheartening to note the inconsistency in the level of service provided. I have consistently felt rushed during my visits, and coordinating appointments with the front desk has been challenging.

The culmination of these experiences, coupled with the discomfort caused by my misaligned bite leading to joint pain, has prompted me to share this review.

I was referred to Dr. Yau by my periodontist since my teeth have shifted over the years. I had braces as a teenager and had neglected to wear my retainer, so of course over the years my teeth had moved. Dr. Yau and her staff made it very easy to go thru the process of having Invisalign (I chose Spark) system over the last year. Dr. Yau is very easy to talk to, my appointments were always on time and the procedure was painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Yau and her team, who were professional and kind.
