I have been going to Dr. Roberts for 15 years. About four years ago he decided to replace an old crown. I was having no trouble at all. During that process the tooth got infected and had to be pulled! I was very disappointed because it was my very first permanent tooth that was pulled. Now as of a few months ago he again decided to replace an old crown. In fact he decided it was best to replace two old crowns. I was having absolutely no problems at all but he convinced me it needed to be done. During that process after he put the new crowns on I started having severe pain. One of the roots got infected he had to throw away the new crown and he did a root canal which did not help. I ask him to refer me to a specialist for the root canal and he replied “I do 10-15 root canals a week”. So I decided to trust him. He then lanced the gums which did not help. Then ended up having to pull that permanent molar! During this three month process I went through three different rounds of antibiotics. Lots of pain pills, Had to go to the emergency room because I was having trouble swallowing because my mouth inside was so swollen from all of the numbing injections during one week. Plus he could not get the infection to go away. I ended up having to hunt down another dentist who gave me penicillin and cleared it up. I also had to have three powerful antibiotic injections also from my physicians office to help get over the horrible infection that was in my tooth and jaw. Which I had to pay 76$ a piece for. I believe caused by Dr Roberts! Two different times I tried to contact Dr Roberts under dire pain and he was unavailabe! I paid him $1100 out of my pocket and when I needed him during a painful weekend he was in Colorado. I guess with my $1100. He got the vacation I sure didn’t! I would highly recommend NOT trusting Dr Roberts or his finicky little teenage staff to take care of you. I live an hour and a half away from the dentist office and the last time I was scheduled for a cleaning I was notified it had to be rescheduled 10 minutes before the appointment. I drove an hour and a half for nothing! I have ask a women named Kim two different times to send a copy of my dental records to another dentist office... and it has not been done. I signed a release form. Don’t go there!

I went in for dental work 06/2021. Paid half of my quoted amount. I received my EOB a few weeks later and it said that my films needed to be submitted to insurance for review. I called and let the office know. Then I went in for my permanent crown on end of 07/2021 paid rest of my quoted amount and again I again informed them of what my insurance is needing to get my claim processed. I reached back out in September or October of 2021 to let them know again that my claim is still pending and insurance needed the films. Once more in December I reached out for them to submit my films to insurance for my claim to be processed. Finally got my primary and secondary insurance eob's. Insurance showed I over paid by $250. I have reached out multiple times to have someone review this and get back with me on a refund. May 23, 2022 I was unofficially informed that they wrote off alot on my account (which is my insurance contracted rates) so they don't owe me a refund. Now May 31,2022 I asked for my account to be reviewed and was told that the billing person has been too busy to get back to me. It took them 6 months to get my claims billed and paid and now it has taken 5 months to get a review on my account. I guess my next step is to report it to the Arkansas Dental Review Board.
