First off I would like to say that I attended this dentist for years as a child. I have read through others reviews and have noticed other children have had the same issues as I had. Reading the reviews has inspired me to tell my story. I am now an adult. I would go to the dentist 2 times a year for my X-rays and cleanings. For a couple of years I was told I had no cavities. So a couple years go by and I have no cavities supposedly. I start to notice one day that 2 of my teeth in the back of my mouth have large holes. I knew instantly that was not normal. I go to the dentist for my regular cleaning and I waited to see if Kevin would say anything about the holes in the back of my teeth. To my surprise there was no mention of them. So when he said I was all good and had no cavities I mentioned to him the holes in the back of my teeth and he shrugged it off and acted like it was normal. I knew right then and there that he was lying and I needed to find a new dentist. I go to a new dentist and I find out through the x rays that I have 11 cavities including the 2 large holes in my teeth that are far back. I was in complete shock. Someone who is supposed to be providing good care for young children and teens would lie like this and say I have no cavities for years when I have 11. He simply didn’t want to do the work. He took X-rays, examined my teeth, saw the cavities, and never said a word to me. Please be careful taking your children here it may do more harm than good. This is my story and I hope this helps parents and children.

I had been taking my son here for years.. But the dentist and his staff are rude.. To top it off doctor doesn’t even wants to work on kids he just sends them to get surgery and put them to sleep.. I got
tierd of this situation and looked for another dentist that wants to work and that really cares for my son needs. My son cavities got deep and worse because Dr.Fleming never treated my son asap thank god he doesn’t need root canals and his new dentist will be doing filling… My son ended up getting 6 fillings and 1 extraction once again because Dr.fleming didn’t do his job on time.. The suffering my son is going through get me SO angry… I can’t believe this person is even a dentist to me he just does Negligence work that it. Look for someone better don’t mess with your kids health

New manager family friendly family run. Business has started to change a lot of policies. Have been taking my son there for years. Friendly staff and new staff.
Very Informed and will educated doctor.
Has many years of experience Especially special needs. My son has special needs and he works with him even when he can be difficult.

You know when you get to any Dr. office and you have to wait forever even though you were on time? That’s because they don’t keep their late policy. I appreciate that he has cancelled those who are late and I have had my appointment canceled at Dr Fleming’s office as well. It makes it nice that when my appointment is at 10, I get in at 10 and am done quickly. I have 4 kids and he does great with all of them. I think Dr. Fleming is a little quirky but aren’t we all. He does a really good job and cares about the kids and their teeth. He even pays out of his own pocket to put in white filling instead of the insurance cover silver. I’ve never had an issue with other staff either.

How Kevin is still allowed to even work with children is scary. The lack of care and patience he has with a child knowing a dentist can be a frightening experience for them. You should be out of business man handling those poor babies and even as adults they remember how cruel you were and still are till this day. Don’t take your kids here.

I would definitely give less that one star if this was an option.. First of all the Dr himself is a little strange 🤔 and the entire Staff pretty much sucks . Only taken my daughter here once she had a tooth extraction, I wasn't able to be with her while it was being done but she was screaming crying for me I tried to make sure she wasOK. They did not allow me to go back. Once they finished she was screaming for me so I went. She said it hurt. The assistant (boy) said it didn't hurt its not true she numb as if he could feel what she feels. Point is they didn't even try to console her make her feel at ease. Needless to say my baby girl is now traumatized of the dentist thanks to these rude careless people !!

My daughter has been here for a couple of years now and so far it's been good. My son who's a toddler just started coming here also. The dentist himself is always kind and patient. He always smiles and greets us well. There are a couple of staff memebers that I love and that are gentle and playful with the kids. (Which is the way a children's dental office should be) And a couple that are ok. Some are really talkative and like to converse while others not so much. But it could just be their personality or have had a bad day maybe. But no one is really ever rude or anything like that. Ive had two bad experiences with the dental assistants. I understand that some times kids gums are going to bleed when they are cleaning their teeth but I expect it from the actual procedure, not long acrylic nails! I saw her nail scrape my sons gums and he reacted so I know it hurt. It took everything in me not to freak. But I told her, that her nail caused his bleeding. She just casually said it was from the cleaning. Which she may have really believed... but I knew better I could clearly see from where I was sitting. But other than that she was super nice and made my son feel at ease. So I liked her, just not her long acrylic nails which I thought were unprofessional in her field. The next bad experience was much worse for me. It was with the dental assistant cleaning my daughter's teeth. He was kind of rough. She kept making noises because she was hurting. (She's Never done before when she's gotten her teeth cleaned) I asked her if he was hurting her and she said yes. So I asked him to go softer he said ok. But he wasn't too happy about it. Then when saliva was dragged on to her face, by her cheeks, (bc of the tool he used and how he chose to go over her face when putting it back), he suctioned it rather than wiped it was a paper towel or the 'bib'. The first time I let it slide, by the second time I asked if he could just wipe it with the towel or the bib. He tried to justify by saying its gentle and that it doesn't hurt but it scared her every time he did it and I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. I mean it was in her mouth and now you are going to rub it on her face? 🤔 But other than that everything has been fine. I choose to keep them here because I like the dentist, most of the staff is super nice and this is probably the best children's dentist our health plan works with. I just keep a close eye and if I see anything I feel is out of order, I politely say something.
I like the appointment reminders, they always send something in the mail and they call the day before to confirm, he office is very child like, they have tvs, toys and books, they also give really great goody bags when they are all done with their check up... and stickers! My kids love getting stickers!!!

If I could give a no star I would. Not one to go online and complain because I think all small business deserve a shot, especially since i work in Lodi for a small business just down the street from here.. However, my wife pulls all 3 of my children out of school for a 12:50 appointment from Stockton, which they ask her to be there 10 minutes early. She shows up at 12:50 and the receptionist has attitude and says that the dentist will not see her due to being late. I emphasize the office is empty at this point. She asked my wife if she would like to reschedule, which is weeks out at a time. My wife chooses to not make a future appointment at that time since she was a bit shocked by the demeanor of the lady at the front desk. Three days later a letter comes in mail stating that DDS fleming has chosen to no longer care for the children and to find a new dentist. Wouldn't be suprised if that decision rested on the receptionist alone. Anyways glad they no longer seeing my children. Recommend finding someone that doesn't have 2 one star ratings to operate on your family's dentistry needs. Already been sharing with friends, family and coworkers to stay away.
