Wife took both daughters to get braces here, then all 3 came home with braces. My wife’s smile was near perfect from having braces in her teens, however they convinced her otherwise and she felt so self conscious they convinced her to get braces as well. I ended up paying all 3 in full over the phone when she called to tell us our actual costs for the services. Fast forward 2 years, they are demanding more money to remove, $421 each to remove the braces claiming a change in 2023 led to insurance now covering less. They waited to tell us until today and claim that we should have verified when we started treatment, however now finding out that the estimated coverage from insurance was accurate when they started and that they are saying mid treatment our coverage changed even though we have the same insurance. They had no sympathy and simply said they would not remove without payment and said I can go after insurance but they would not. No choice but to pay, but we will be moving all of our business elsewhere. Tired of the long waits to be seen, the need to review and point out flaws in my children’s teeth when they say it’s time to remove, and the constant change in dentists/orthodontists. This office operates as more of a turn and burn, collect the money upfront and demand a bit more at the end and then get them gone. You can overhear people complaining at the front desk of misleading consults and having to pay additional money to complete services, so it’s certainly not an isolated event. Stop over promising and under delivering, change your business strategy and maybe you’ll retain more business in the future.

The initial appointment was great. They did a good job with teeth cleaning, made kids feel comfortable and welcome as they walk in. There’s a really fun waiting room and play area. It seemed clean and well taken care of over all. Front desk staff are very friendly. But, our experience getting treatment done was misleading and after our last appointment I definitely will not be going back. They include laughing gas on your treatment plan whether your kiddo needs it or not. This was not presented as an option to me. I would not have wanted any of my children to get gas unnecessarily and I feel like they do this to pump their price of care which is an instant red flag. Also the Dr that we saw kept telling my son she was done when she wasn’t. She failed to complete the first treatment for my daughter as planned because she saw a cavity she initially didn’t see on her first appointment. She seemed to be having trouble in general with both of my kids. I did not feel like I could trust this practice in any way. They over explained why they give every child gas treatment instead of acknowledging that it was completely unnecessary and misleading to include in their care plan. I never had the mishaps at any other practice for children that I had here. My oldest is 18, so I’ve had plenty experience with good dentist. Even though we moved and are not as close. We plan to move our children back to Alhambra dental. They were always completely professional and I trusted all the work they did.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Kids Care! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put both me and my daughter at ease. The office itself is beautifully decorated with bright colors and fun themes that make it clear they understand how to cater to children. The waiting area had books, video games and they even had a play ground outside which kept my daughter entertained before the appointment even started.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. They took the time to explain everything we needed to know, from insurance details to what to expect during the visit. I truly appreciated their patience and kindness, which made me feel confident that we were in good hands.

Once we were called back, the dental assistant Jordan was absolutely amazing with my daughter. She had a gentle, reassuring approach and explained each step of the process in a way that was fun and easy to understand. She even let her “help” with some of the tools, which turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into an exciting one. Her kindness and encouragement made all the difference, and my daughter was actually excited to be in the chair!

The dentist was equally wonderful. Dr. Tania took the time to thoroughly examine her teeth, providing clear explanations and helpful tips for at-home care. What really stood out to me was how they genuinely cared about my daughter’s comfort and dental health. They answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed and provided personalized recommendations that were easy to follow.

From picking a fun flavor of toothpaste, watching a cartoon during the cleaning, or picking out a small prize at the end, every detail was thoughtfully designed to make dental care an enjoyable experience for kids.

By the end of our visit, my daughter left feeling proud and excited to come back, which is something I never thought I would say about a dental appointment! I am so grateful to have found such a caring and professional team that truly understands the unique needs of young patients.

I highly recommend this office to any parent looking for a dental office that goes above and beyond in creating a positive and comfortable experience for their children. Thank you again to the entire team for making our visit such a wonderful one!

Staff is super nice. It was my kid's first dentist visit. She had to get her teeth extracted and the staff made her very comfortable. She enjoyed it so much that she said she couldn't wait to go back. She really liked their video game station. 😆 It was overall a positive experience for my child.

Dr. Tania has been seeing my daughter for years! She is soo gentle and very reassuring. She takes her time to explain the growth characteristics of my daughters teeth and makes us feel so comfortable

We have been coming here for 6 years now and while I have had mostly a great experience for my 4 kids. Recently, they have really been dropping the ball. For the last 2-3 months, after switching back to a new orthodontist (who is really great), they jam pack her schedule which now you can’t even be seen for 45min or longer every single visit. I get they are working on a tightened schedule and see a ton of patients but something needs to be done because this has turned into awful customer service. Currently sitting waiting for my daughters appt and it was at 2pm and is now 2:40pm. They don’t update you or anything. This is now the 4th appt it’s been like this. Really frustrating and disappointing!

Definitely had a great experience in person. The staff was knowledgeable and gave good customer service. Dr was kind and made my kiddos feel comfortable. Overall really good experience.
