My mom got surgery at Loma Linda Hospital then was transferred here.

I want to thank Jaime, the respiratory nurse. He was more than helpful. As my mother is non English speaker, Jaime would come in and translate, help her to the bathroom, take her for walks, and constantly check on her. Just knowing that there was someone who really cared and who didn't even have to those things bc he is a respiratory nurse.

Thank you Jaime!

If I could give a lower rating, I would honestly, all appointments leading up to this were fine, but this facility is beyond inconsiderate and incompetent.
1. You have a patient traveling to you from Fort Irwin a military installation and that has told you repeatedly that hey our hospital and pharmacy closes at 1700 (5pm) can you make our surgery in the morning or early in the day to accommodate us having to get her medication after surgery. You make it at 1600 (4 pm).
2. When asked about getting the meds early because of the time, no, we can't do that, but you can pick it up from our pharmacy, then come to find out your pharmacy closes at 4 pm. So not only would my wife come out of surgery with no medication she would be in pain all weekend till Monday and I would have to be stuck in traffic traveling I15 while people are trying to get to Vegas so basically an 2 to 3 hr drive would turn into a 5 to 8 hr drive. With a person fresh out of surgery.
3. And the biggest in my opinion you need to let people know in the post op not 18 hrs before that hey this facility doesn't allow children inside which is dumb because one the pre-op and patient rooms are upstairs and you have a whole big lobby downstairs. Rather than telling a patients family, oh, just get a hotel room. Sorry, we all don't have money like that, and that is rude to say.
4. Why would you have a patient stave for 16 hrs before surgery? The typical time is 8 to 10 hrs before surgery, not to eat, especially when you know this patient is diagnosed with severe migraines. What is the purpose of that ? My wife had to suffer for hours with migraines because of your incompetence while our kids had to sit outside in the hot sun for hours.
This is why we left and she did go through with the surgery because non of this was stated or took into consideration after we told you these things multiple times before the 7th and on the 7th weeks before the surgery date and it wasn't until hours before and when we are there that we are finally getting more information you need to do better.

Although this is a good place for surgical procedures the customer service needs some fixing. When my wife came in to check in a security guard said she could go in but not me and the child. Even though there's a huge waiting room upstairs. So my grandson and I had to wait outside in the cold. This process is cruel.

THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE
The day that traumatized me to go into any kind of surgical procedure.
Reason of is 1 they can NOT accommodate Military families or any family for that matter, my surgery was to be on the 23th they called me on the 22 to give me the time of the surgery, was pretty much starving for 16+ hrs just to find out that my surgery is going to be 4+hrs later meanwhile I should just sit and starve myself and my husband and 2 kids to wait outside the facility because THEY DON'T ALLOW KIDS IN THE BUILDING, very unprofessional for a RN to tell me "just go and get a hotel room for your kids and husband " , we drove from Fort Irwin California to this place on Friday took us 3+ hrs because of traffic by the time I got there I already had a bad migraine, after finding out that my surgery won't start until 4pm - 5pm ( mind you I was there at 1:30p.m. checked in with IV in my hand by 2:30p.m. ) I didn't have a prescription for pain management after surgery and I wasn't even able to get one until the doc got out of the surgery room around 4p.m. -5p.m. (was told by the nurse). At that point I just told them I wanted to go home because I wasn't going to have my family wait outside in the parking lot for over 9hr . Having a migraine ( they knew I suffer from migraines) and not being even offered any kind of solution for it on top of not being able to drink water or eat even a cracker for over 16hr is almost like a torture .
Honestly this whole experience really traumatized me . I am definitely considering to not even try and fix my issue that I was there in the first place, not willing to go into a different facilities at this point. The whole experience was very unprofessional and uncalled for.

From the moment I checked in I was treated well. All my questions were answered and I was treated very well. When taken to surgery prep, my nurse Kim, was fantastic. The whole team is amazing! Dr. Siddighi has the most fantastic team! At 76 this was my first surgery, and I was so nervous and scared. Everyone on the team took special care of me, held my hand , and generally made me feel like they were all there just for me! What an incredible team!!
My surgery went smoothly and recovery went great! I was scared to go home, but I was well prepared and ready and things went well. I want to thank this incredible team for all of their care!

Amazing experience first time surgery. Staff was helpful, attentive, friendly. The doctors/nurses were compassionate, informative both morning/evening teams. They answered all my questions and took good care of me. Food was good/fresh. Facility was well maintained, housekeeping came into my room a few times during their shifts. My room was peaceful made my recovery time go smooth. Discharge instructions were clear along with supplies I needed to make a full recovery at home.
