I had a very disappointing experience with Lyfesmiles. I had an appointment scheduled to have my retainer glued back in place, as it had come loose. Since it’s important to fix it quickly to avoid any shifting of the teeth, I had been waiting nearly two weeks for this appointment. The day of my appointment, I drove across San Francisco early in the morning, only to get stuck in traffic and run a little late. I notified the office that I would be late, but while I was on my way, they called to tell me they couldn’t see me because I first needed to visit a DDS in a different office.

They claimed that one doctor needed to examine my teeth, while another doctor at Lyfesmiles would glue the retainer. These were two different offices, which they failed to communicate when I initially booked the appointment. They ended up canceling my appointment while I was still driving there.

Frustrated, I immediately booked with another clinic, and they were able to fix my retainer in just 15 minutes. The lack of communication and last-minute cancellation at Lyfesmiles was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

I’m very dissatisfied with the way Lyfesmiles handled my appointment. Not only was there poor communication about the process ahead of time, but there was also no sense of urgency or effort to provide a solution when I was already in the office. Instead of offering any alternative or rescheduling options, they simply canceled my appointment without considering how important it was to get my retainer fixed promptly. The lack of care and consideration for the client was extremely frustrating, and I felt like my time and concerns were not valued at all.

My experience with Dr. Ubaldo was absolutely amazing. She is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She always communicated the reason for the changes she was making to my braces and how I should expect my teeth to move from one appointment to the next. And her staff are all very friendly as well. I would hands down recommend her to anyone I know that is considering getting orthodontic treatment.

Best Orthodontist in San Francisco without a doubt!! Dr. Ubaldo is not only very sweet and personable, but she is incredibly detail oriented. She made sure my smile was perfectly ready for jaw surgery on a tight schedule, without compromising what was best for my teeth long term! She did everything possible to perfect my smile in as little time as possible (as this was my third time having braces and she did what no other orthodontist had done for me in the past)! I wish I had her as my orthodontist the first time I got braces!!
