I brought my daughter in for a consultation several months ago for surgical wisdom tooth extraction with sedation. We scheduled it and was surprised not to receive any pre-op instructions. She’s having the teeth surgically removed and will be under anesthesia. Today, when we came into the office, the front desk again is completely not helpful. They just make you check in on the computer and never discuss anything with you. Even when we checked out from our consultation a few months ago, we had a zoom call with a billing department rather than taking care of check-out at the front desk. They took my daughter back for treatment and said I couldn’t come into the back. I told them to bring me back to chat with the doctor when he was available. My daughter came back out to the waiting room to tell me she would be awake for the procedure! I went back to the room and the assistant had no idea what was going on. They had someone else’s chart up on the computer and left it open (HIPPA violation) and she was trying to blame me for not discussing the procedure with the front desk. Red flags everywhere. We waited 45 minutes to talk to the doctor to see what could be done and he never even came in. We left and will never come back. Highly unprofessional, her chart clearly read *with sedation* and no apology for her taking the day off school or any accountability. DO NOT trust your children with these people. I will be filing a formal complaint.

I took my daughter today for her first appointment and the staff were amazing! So friendly and check in was super simple. As a new patient it took less than a week for an appointment which I loved because with medi-cal it can take forever to find a provider. We had a great experience. The facility was clean and catered to kids.highly recommended

We have been going to Make A Smile for years and the staff are always so friendly and kind! My son has special needs and they are always willing to accommodate him/us to the best of their ability. I wanted to give and extra thank you to Hailey both in the front office and also Hailey the Dental Hygienist as well as Doctor Rosie! My son has elopement behaviors and the way that they are aware of the slow and gentle approach that is needed as well as being okay with the accommodations requested makes a world of difference! I’m just so thankful for Make A Smile’s care and attention to their patients. It makes a world of difference. If you are questioning whether you should take your child here, don’t hesitate at all!

My son needs two wisdom teeth removed. Got a referral and came here. They insist on charging $1200 for a bone graft that is completely unnecessary. They refused to just remove the wisdom teeth which would be covered 100% by Denti cal. They are extortionists demanding to charge you extra for an unnecessary and unwarranted procedure..and if you decline you cannot get treatment. Then to top it off they charge you $100 to book the surgery appt as a deposit. No other dentist does this. After consulting with other oral surgeons and finding out it is indeed unnecessary for a bone graft after the wisdom teeth removal. Do not trust these people or this corporation. Since Medi Cal won't do anything I am going to my state representative to file a grievance against this whole practice and implore others to file a class action lawsuit. No one , especially the poor and disabled, should be denied necessary dental treatment due to inability to pay for medically unnecessary added expenses. Shame on Make A Smile.

My kids like it here. The staff always makes them feel comfortable, they're patient and good with kids. They have movies on to distract them from being at the dentist and a fun prize box to pick from after treatment is done. The massage chair for parents in the waiting room is also a plus.

This place is amazing! Massage chair in the lobby! Yes! All 4 of my children come here and I haven't had a single issue. Plus the staff is amazing! Thank you Make A Smile for pretty teeth 🙂

I’ve been coming from 45 minutes away for years because we have a lot of good experiences with this make a smile office . Staff is always very friendly and listens to concerns . Very clean facility and always in and out without long waits .great pediatric dentist
