I have called to make appointment and yes the receptionist is very rude . Just like others have expressed. I also made a mistake not knowing that the individual doing my teeth was a new dental doctor who was on there residency and she used amalgam on a filling in my tooth which turned it grey . Luckily it's a molar in the very back . She expressed it was "the Gold standard" ppshhhh yeah I don't agree. Plus I later found out that it is toxic to the doctor and the patient due to mercury. Most dental professionals have not used this method for over 20yrs. With these issues I choose to get established with community care which is was better all around service and especially with cleaning that are top notch compared to the last cleaning I had at the McClellan dental clinic where the individual cleaning my teeth was very negative Nancy. The last cleaning I had with community care was excellent. I highly recommend creekside dental in Folsom CA for any veterans in the area and experiencing the same with McClellan dental. The receptionist gotta go . Y'all can figure it out. Just call in and you will determine on your own by the tone of voice and by the hospitality that's lacking.

Dr. Quilicci (sp?) has been my dentist for years, and she's wonderful! She's had to do a filling and even pull a tooth (some years back), and she took very good care of me with the pain management. And she and her assistant are a riot to listen to when I go in for an appointment! 😆

I always feel welcome when I go there for another appointment and I'm well taken care of.

I give VA dental clinic a 5-star rating do to a wonderful dental hygienist named Lisa absolutely awesome and I look forward to coming thank you Lisa you are awesome and made my visit very pleasant and pain-free!!!! I do have one concern though in regards to scheduling they sent me out three notifications that an appointment was canceled one doctor was on vacation and the other two were just canceled no explanation I obtained a phone call saying I missed an appointment I said no I have my appointment list right in front of me and it did not show that I had a dental appointment it is very concerning to me due to the fact that I do not miss appointments I'm very punctual professional and not on time but early for every appointment at least 20 minutes sometimes even longer since I drive from out of town this appointment list does not have any appointments that they said they have scheduled or that I missed but it does show one upcoming in a few weeks and it's not an old appointment list I obtained it 4 weeks ago and it did not show any dental appointments but the one I have coming up in a few weeks I am not cool at all one bit with them saying I missed an appointment that I didn't have scheduled and why did they send me three cancellation letters when I didn't have anything scheduled this is not the end of it !!!!!!!!!!

Lisa the dental hygienist is outstanding. This is just my second cleaning appointment with her and it’s so refreshing to have a professional that is so enthusiastic and full of energy especially in these pandemic times. She works so meticulously and stays focus throughout. I highly recommend her to anyone. She is definitely a credit to her great service to the veterans. I appreciate her services so much

I brought my husband here as it was the only option for his emergency service and I am his caregiver. We drove 2 hour's to get here and the staff was rude as soon as they approached us. They called my husband so we stood up and began walking, the assistant taking x-rays turned around and said im taking him for x-ray like i was suppose to know. The front desk seemed bothered by us not using the machine to check in which was not an option. When my husband was done with x-ray he came back and handed me his stuff and said the same girl who was rude about the x-ray told him i could not be in the room for the procedure either. Im in disbelief that they treat Veterans and caregivers in such a hostile way. Im not just a wife to 100% disabled combat veteran but im also his caregiver, and his support system, and i should be welcomed anywhere he is. That is my job to make sure he is getting the best service's available. In the past he has been treated with great disrespect by VA worker's and that's one of the reasons im now his caregiver. I did not have any interactions with the dentist just the staff so i cannot speak to that aspects. The waiting area is nice but your very close to one another.

The staff has been super helpful and caring. The dentist I see definitely makes me know she cares about my teeth and my health. Having a fear like most about dentists she helped me get through my fear and know I am comfortable in the chair.

Three times I needed emergency dental care and could not find help also I could not talk or drive myself because the pain was so great. They need a way for veterans to get help at those times. It would also help if you could email or text your needs if you could not talk. In all I am very grateful for the service. I've been up all night waiting for them to have sick call because I need help again and im afraid to drive for lack of sleep and pain. Why so much pain.
