First off the one star is for billing and insurance estimates. Dr Patel is absolutely amazing at her job. She truly cares and listens to her patients. She keeps up with the most current research in gastroenterology. We did discuss how I didn't want the recommended colonoscopy because I know people my age don't get covered. She assured me she would code it so I would be covered and named my PPO insurance. I was impressed when they pre-authorized it and I got the estimate in the mail. Usually the patient does if they want. So day of procedure I pay what my estimate says for the endoscopy which will not be covered and I'm aware of that before going in. It's pricy but I made that decision based on trusting Dr that it was needed and I don't regret that. I will add that I got two voicemails with transcripts stating colonoscopy will be covered 100% just have to pay for endoscopy. Okay great what Dr said was true. Then... I started getting bills in the mail, daily phone calls and vms, texts and emails all stating I owe another 1100 something. I was so upset because that's not what we discussed. I told Dr that was my concern and I didn't want to do it if it wasnt covered. Bill was due yesterday. Again I've gotten essentially harassed with bills. I've never in my life had so many requests to pay immediately. This I was not prepared for and I don't have the financial means to pay this. The endoscopy was about 1200 with my PPO insurance. I called insurance, the front office, asked for office manager to write it off or discount and they said they have no power. Talked to billing about 5 times all reps said they cannot write it off or discount even with my written estimate and voicemail transcript. No apologies. Also I contacted the person directly who gave me the quote since she gave me her number and ext. Even called her at least 3 times and left 3 voicemails without any attempt to call me back and resolve this. Now I'll probably end up going to collections since they refuse to write it off or discount it on behalf of the major mistake. Clearly something was miscoded inuderstand estimates are estimates I work in health care but to be this wrong and not write it off or offer major discount is very unhuman. I felt no empathy or help when talking to anyone from the office about this situation. I probably will be back in the future because I really like Dr. Patel and her phenomenal team. I'm just going to be aware now to basically pay even if they say I am covered 100%. That way I can plan to save unlike this situation where it is not within my means to pay. In three years yes but not this huge surprise bill that I get harassed with daily!!! Causing me so much anxiety to get sent to collections over this I cannot believe them when they say they cannot discount or write it off. Again I work in health care we definitely write things of of heavily discount when the estimate we gave is completely off!!

Great Place! Dr.Chao and his team were excellent! I felt so comfortable.
Step by step was informed what was going to take place and always was asked if I had any questions or needed anything. I know I was in the best hands.

Overall, great experience. The entire team that cared for me was communicative, thorough, and organized. The facility itself is very clean. There was also great communication regarding estimated costs beforehand, and follow up the day after to make sure I was doing well. I would recommend and go to this facility again!

The minus one start is for 1) unfriendly staff member during check-in who barely explained what I was signing (although I read and understood it all), and 2) an employee complaining so loudly I could hear every word through the lobby wall.

I had surgery yesterday, and they were the nicest staff I have seen in a long time. Their bedside manner is exceptional, from explaining what would take place. To making me feel at ease at a very stressful time. Dr. Holness was so professional, and very personable at the same time. Thank you to everyone. Hector G.

First off, this is not a Memorial Care facility. They just pay to use the Memorial Care name.
Second, they overestimated how much my portion would be and refused to allow me to wait for the insurance claim to process before paying my balance. Their "policy" is the patient MUST pay their estimated portion prior to the procedure. Well now that the claim has processed, they owe me a refund >$200, but will i see that anytime soon? No, I have to wait at least 30 for them to process the payment from the insurance company. policy is harmful to patients. I've essentially loaned the over $200 and they can take their sweet time in returning it to me.
