I was a little apprehensive when I arrived but she made feel very comfortable. The office was pleasant the front desk was professional the doctor was professional so for me they was excellent except the prices extremely expensive. The only reason I will pass on their service

Dr Alkillesly went above and beyond to explain what he was going to do for my extractions. He took time to check in with me every few minutes to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain or discomfort. I will recommend him and Dr Keesler to everyone looking for dental care!

Excellent experience as a first time patient at Metro Dentalcare Brooklyn Center. My hygienest was very kind, knowledgable, and thorough with the cleaning. I also appreciate the use of advanced scanning tools (complimentary) to help the dentist spot any issues with my teeth. I would definitely recommend this dental office to others.

I scheduled a 2:30 cleaning, and I didn't see the hygienist until 2:45. She took photos of my mouth because she stated that it hadn't been done since January 2024. After the photos and inspection of my gums she recommended a deep cleaning along with some other services. I waited over 10 minutes to see the dentist just to be told that they would schedule my cleaning for another time. Once I was at the front desk the receptionist stated that the deep cleaning was not recommended, but that it was required. Of course it is! The deep cleaning is almost $400, and the basic cleaning is$0. I asked if I could just do the basic, and she stated that they would only perform the deep cleaning. I have been going to Metro for over 5 years, and this was the first I've heard of this. I was very disappointed that I scheduled a cleaning and ended up wasting time (over 1 hour) over services that I didn't request. I am looking for a new dentist.

I’m leaving this review a year later to ensure accuracy. I saw the female dentist here, who told me I had 3 cavities and recommended I get two teeth extracted — which surprised me, as my previous dentist had found none, and I take excellent care of my teeth. I decided to pay out of pocket for a second opinion elsewhere, and that dentist found no cavities at all. A full year later, I’ve continued to have clean checkups and no signs of decay.

The hygienist I saw at this office was excellent, but my experience with the dentist left me concerned about over-diagnosis. I can’t speak to intent, but based on what followed, I no longer trust the care I received here.

Dental technician was more than 30 minutes late for the appointment. Technician lacked bedside manner and was in a rush the whole appointment. The x-ray machine was broken and the dental team spent another 15 minutes trying to fix it with me standing in the machine. I scheduled a cleaning but did not actually receive a cleaning, only an initial exam, so they made me schedule another cleaning on top of that 2 weeks later. The technician took both complete x-rays and panoramic x-rays - for which my insurance will only cover ONE of the two within a 5-year period - so I am stuck paying 150$ out-of-pocket. The team did not inform me that they were planning to take both sets of x-rays. When I called to ask about this they simply said to call my insurance.
