Dr. Minto is funny, but most importantly, he's unbelievably talented. He did such a fantastic job with my extraction that I wondered if he'd actually operated on me at all, and that's AFTER the pain medication and whatever else wore off. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed here without a hitch. The sutures were nice and secure (he managed to anchor one of them through the front of another tooth and back out the side), I barely bled, and the only swelling I had lasted for about 3 days. I just looked like I had too much sodium or gained weight - it was nothing ridiculous like the pictures you'd see on Google. I've had dental cleanings that caused more discomfort. Here's what's really crazy - he probably performed the operation in under 30 minutes, AND I felt no discomfort to my jaw despite it having to be propped open. I took a nap, woke up with those pesky teeth gone, and went out for Mexican food later that night as if nothing happened.
It did take forever to see him even with a referral, and I understand why - the man stays booked because he's just that good. From the insurance coordinator to the nurse who handles IVs, everyone on his staff does a stellar job. Some people might be nervous about letting a guy who looks 12 poke around in their mouths, but I can guarantee you that 1) He's got small hands, and 2) They're nimble. I have so much confidence in him that if he ever starts doing cosmetic surgery, I'd trust him with a face/neck lift. At least!
