I had the most thorough cleaning by Scalla and exam by Dr. Aria. I always receive the best care here and they did an additional saliva test today that I’ve never had done before. Brittany and Christina at the front desk were so kind and helpful with the check in and check out process. This practice not only cares about your oral health but also your overall whole body health. I went here because they advertise that they actually can make the crowns in their own office and they were covered by my insurance. And indeed that was true. However, when I arrive there, and they wanted to do a full set of x-rays and pictures of the mouth and a full head dental scan I said well I’ve already had this done at my current dentist And I was told it don’t worry, there is no charge for this. And I said OK so I went in the doctor saw me he took a look and he said well the type of crowns that they make and the only ones they give out is not really covered by my insurance and my part of the bill would be thousands of dollars. I said why is that I said another dentist told me my part of the crown would be $400. And they said well your interest doesn’t cover the type of crowns that we make and we don’t do any other crowns. Therefore, I said well thank you and I left and they said there’s no charge. However, I look when I get the summary from my insurance company and they build my insurance For a total of $1301. The insurance allowed $122 of that and then they show that I owed $904. I called the doctors office back and explained what I was questioning to them and they stated oh well we always build the insurance whether we bill you or not. You don’t have to pay any of the amount it says that is due.

This sounds very dishonest to me, and I will report it to the insurance company as well

They do not charge for the first office visit, and I did not know that when I went in. I had an emergency broken crown. No dental office I have ever visited uses a free visit scam to attract new patients. I had an emergency visit, and I wanted to pay and take my x-rays to a dentist whom I had seen before. Mission Valley promised to send the x-rays to me, but they did not follow through after I made two attempts to pay and get the x-rays.

I am now forced to subject myself to additional radiation because this dental office scams to get new patients. I was willing to pay for the x-rays as well as the office visit. Beware of a dental practice that does not provide your records so you can get treatment elsewhere. A complaint will be filed against them with the California Dental Board for deceptive dental practices.

It’s always a pleasure to visit this dental office! I’ve been a patient here for almost 10 years and have had various types of treatments done from cleaning, Invisalign and fillings to gum grafts. All the doctors, hygienists, and staff are amazing. I’m especially grateful to Dr. Gille and hygienist Luis for educating me about gum health and being so convincing in promoting the importance of flossing. My gums were in poor state 6 months ago, but after the treatment recommended and performed by Luis and after being diligent about my flossing routine, the change is striking and I couldn’t be happier with my current gum health.

I wanted to share my super positive experience thus far with Mission Valley Dentists! My dental hygienist Scalla Castillo has done the BEST cleaning of my life (this wasn’t even a deep cleaning and I felt like she did the most thorough job!) I have extremely sensitive teeth, and she made sure to accommodate to my comfort level by using less cold water and air, only when absolutely necessary. My teeth felt so incredibly clean afterward, I was ecstatic! The staff at the office are all around very friendly and helpful and are always willing to answer my questions. Dr Ariannejad is also very kind and already did work on my 2 cavities and I didn’t need to get any adjustments on the filling afterward (which I normally always do!) Overall, super happy with my experience there! Keep up the great work!
