My little Roo had to have surgery on his knee. I was told how wonderful this place was and Roo would would be treated with lots of love and compassion. They’re beyond amazing! Their kindness and support to me as well showed me how much they care about our fur babies and the owners that love them. Thank you to Dr. Fitzgerald, and team for your hospitality, and taking the time to explain everything and making sure all my questions were answered prior to and after surgery. Forever thankful and grateful!!

Thank you for helping and saving my old girl. So many people told me to let her go because she is 17 and has lived her life. I however, felt like she still had some life in her, so I took the chance to have her sedated to get her teeth removed. I was so emotional when I dropped her off because the old girl and I had been through so much in life. I just thought it was going to be her last so I was trying to come to the term it was her time to go. Thank goodness she pulled through, and is at home with me recovering. The old girl is lively and energetic again. Thank you for helping her and sorry if I was being a drama queen lol. At least my old girl can go a little bit more before she decides it's time to go.

It seems weird giving a 5 star during one of the most difficult days of my life, but these guys deserve every bit of it. They were so friendly and compassionate during the process of putting to rest my sweet little dog, Dobbs! Thank you for making a difficult time somewhat pleasant!

The staff at Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital offered insightful, patient and compassionate service through the end of life choices I had to make with my faithful nearly 13-year old companion, Penny, aka Fluffy foo-foo.
Jalynne and Dr. Fitzgerald were actively engaged with me every step of the way.
Then to receive this card a few week later...
it spoke worlds to me of their genuine care.

We had a lot of complications with our cat after his surgery and Dr. Fitz was amazing through it all. He was very caring and gentle with our cat, and helped us through multiple surgeries, and more. When I made the appointment for our checkup to get some stitches out, I said we needed Dr. Fitz since he had known the history, and was the one working with us the whole time, we needed his final approval to make sure our cat was okay to get his stitches out, and that everything from the surgery's was looking good. Once we arrived, we were informed that he was not there, and we would be seeing Dr. Barton instead. He asked me to get my cat out of the crate, and after one failed attempt, he quickly grabbed the crate, flipped it upside down, and started shaking it like a salt shaker. It was very quick and aggressive. Throughout the appointment, he was very brisk and short with his answers to the important questions we were asking, and the overall way he was speaking to us. After he removed the stitches, we tried asking some more questions as he was rushing to the door, and left before we could have asked more than a couple questions. This appointment felt extremely rushed, and careless. We wish we would have been called or something prior to the appointment that Dr. Fitz wasn't in office that day as we would have happily waited the extra time to see him specifically, as he did amazing with our cat before, and again, knew all of the previous history and complications from the surgery's, and was so kind and gentle to our cat. We loved working with Dr. Fitz and would give him 5 starts, but we will never be seeing Dr. Barton again.

Dr. Barton is amazing! Very professional and nice. Heard about them through a friend and wasn't sure because I don't live close to them. It was worth the drive for me! I will definitely be coming back!

Our pup was acting very off this afternoon. I called the clinic and they were able to get us in 20 minutes later and Dr Fitzgerald spent lots of time with us examining our dog and taking good care of her. He was great at explaining what he was doing and looking for as he examined her. Another great experience with Dr Fitzgerald.

I will recommend all of my friends and family to come to the animal hospital in Mount Pleasant, not only were they very professional and kind to me, when I left my puppy I was at ease, knowing that she was in good hands. The pricing is very reasonable, and the staff were very caring. I will definitely be back. Thanks again to the staff for taking good care of Lady.
