I would not give you 1 star if it was not needed to post my review… I would NOT recommend this place to anyone… my 70 year old father came to get teeth pulled so he could get a plate… they left part of a tooth in his mouth that became infected and swollen… he never got a call back and ended up going to the emergency room.. they gave him antibiotics and pain meds and told him to follow up with the dentist…he was there when they opened and was told by the receptionist that no one was there to help him and to take Tylenol and the tooth would fall out own it’s on… she was very rude and unprofessional.. my father got an appointment with another dentist that ended up having to cut the tooth out and stitch it up… steer clear of this place they do not care about their patients..

I had a great experience at Mt. Airy Dental Studio! Emma and Dr. Hairston were both very personable and knowledgeable. They listened to me and addressed my concerns. Amy was wonderful during checkout! She took the time to answer my questions about my insurance and really went above and beyond to explain everything to me. I feel confident that my dental care is in very capable and caring hands!

Absolutely and completely impressed with the staff and the care that I have received. When Covid hit, I stopped going to my Dentist and when I needed an appointment, he was retiring. I search my Blue Cross Blue Shield app for a new Dentist and this office was listed and I was able to get an very quickly. I have received the best care because and with the most impressive technology, I have been able to see all that is happening with my teeth and the care that is needed to get them back on track. Highly recommend!!!

Mount Airy Dental Studio:
I have never had someone treat my children the way they have been treated.
My son has/had MRSA in a surgical site on his PINKY.
Last week the office stopped my daughter’s dental treatment in the middle of service and refused to see my son because MRSA is so contagious and they have compromised staff in their office.
Today they refused to my mom because my son was with her.
Why are they treating my child like he has the plague?
Well their answer is because he is touching door handles and sitting on their furniture……
Again the surgical site is his pinky…we are two weeks out from the infection…he has had five doses of an IV antibiotic and been on oral antibiotics for ten days. The site was COVERED and is not draining.
Does MRSA transfer from clothing onto chairs from his bottom? Does MRSA transfer from two people who does not have it?

I asked do you treat people with HIV/Aids when you are in their mouth and they are bleeding? Yes because if you didn’t that would be discrimination.

Office managers answer: well they most of the time don’t tell us….?

Seriously? They also will not give me a contact number, voicemail, or email address for the owner for me to speak with her.

So I am very glad my children and my mother are so contagious that they need to not SIT ON FURNITURE in a building.

Absolutely, the best dental office I have ever been to. The two ladies who run the front desk have been very helpful and accommodating with scheduling appointments. They are very sweet and kind. The two hygienists were very friendly and thorough in explaining what treatment I need. They gave me options.
Last but not least is Dr. Mel. She was so professional, yet friendly and a pleasure to talk to. It was as though she has been my dentist for many years. I think she is terrific.
I highly recommend Mt. Airy Dental Studio.

Mt. Airy Dental studio is absolutely top notch! I first started going there a few years ago with an acute need to which I was worked in soo fast! After that I decided to transfer all of my dental care there and have been extremely happy with the care! Dr. Mel and her staff are hands down THE BEST! If you’re looking for a new dentist, I would 10/10 recommend them!

Yall left half tooth in my 73 yr old dad got infected he came back told him it would fall out he had go to emergency room get infection medicine pain pills then go to another dentist get it cut out and stitched up yall was rude yall are trash please stay away
