I have always loved Neiman Marcus and have been a loyal customer, especially when it comes to buying shoes. However, my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in their online shopping.
On February 18, I ordered the Alaïa Mesh Mary Jane Ballerina Flats in nude, size 39—the same style I previously purchased in black from Neiman Marcus with no issues. But this time, when I opened the box, I was shocked.
The box was labeled 39, but the shoes inside were a completely different size-41! Not only that, but they were filthy, made of the wrong fabric and color, had uneven borders, and looked nothing like the authentic Alaia flats I already own. The worst part? THEY WERE FAKE.
I paid $971 for these shoes and expected Neiman Marcus' usual quality and authenticity. Instead, I received what looked like a cheap knockoff. How can I trust this store if someone can just swap out my order? This is completely unacceptable.
I will be attaching photos of my real Alaïa flats and the fake pair they sent me. I expect a full refund and an explanation of how this happened.

Edit: I emailed the provided address, they did not help and asked me to call a gift card customer support number. I called this number back in November and they said they could not help, so they just lead you in circles.

The store looks nice with a great fragrance section. They will lie about ongoing promotions to get you to purchase fragrances, I never received a $100 gift card as promised by the employee. I called and spoke with a supervisor/manager who promised to resolve the issue and contact me in a few days, but I never heard back.

Stopped to pick up a gift curbside 2 days before Xmas. Customer service was really friendly, polite, and helpful. The valet outside was great too and guided me to a good spot where I could wait for the gift to come out.

Nice store with 2 floors included with a ton of selections. Just decided to walk around and look at a few things since I didn’t plan on buying anything from here. Staff very friendly, well stocked, clean, and well maintained.

Worth checking out. Great place to stop for some fancy shoes and clothing.

Great place to shop. Tyron attention was great. Nevertheless the lady on the lady’s purses was rude to validate my parking ticket, she said there were more coworkers free, she should know YOU ARE A TEAM AND THE STORE’S REPRESENTATIVES. If you don’t like each other, isn’t customer’s fault.

Really bad experience, i bought my Christmas gifts on line when i go to pick it up i ask for wrap my gifts the dude who handle online order really rude saying they charge to wrap it, turn his back on me and walked away but luckily found the ladies over at creed boot they where super nice and wrap my gifts, 2nd time that when to pick it up same thing on this time we end it up paying 8 bucks to wrap it and they do a really bad job!!! So really unhappy about the whole situation!!!

I placed the below review and gave a 1 star. I have changed it to a 5 star as Neiman Marcus corrected this issue. Their response was quick and Tito Garcia who was my sales rep called me back immediately. It was not his fault at all as the belt was defective. They shipped me a new belt immediately and have corrected the problem. Thank you Tito and Neiman Marcus. The next time I'm in Chicago, I will be back to shop for more.

You are better off purchasing a $10.00 belt at any other store. I purchased a $500.00 Ferragamo belt, wore it roughly 10 times and it fell apart in my hand. I called Neiman Marcus and they simply stated, "I'm sorry but you have owned the belt for longer than 30 days." What kind of service and hospitality is that? No offer to replace or repair. Quality and Service is a joke. Hope nobody else gets robbed.

Wow! Traditional customer service is still alive! I came in to town for a concert and forgot my concert attire. Shortly after arriving I was greeted by Patrica. She was lovely. She was truly there to help. I did not realize the store closed before the rest of the mall. I was not made to feel rushed at all. We found a great dress for my concert. When I was let out of the store by the manager, she was so very pleasant. Did not make me feel uncomfortable for being late. Tuned out she is going to the same concert. It is lovely when you feel valued when making a purchase. Glad to see it’s still alive! Thank you ladies.
