This entire dental enterprise is absolutely top notch! Dr. Howard has been my dentist for over twenty years. My wife, who was dreadfully afraid of dental visits, was very comfortable with Dr. Howard's chair-side manner and expertise. He is exceedingly skilled in all the areas of dentistry we have required. These include fillings, crowns, chipped tooth repair, extractions and several implants. All procedures are completed with minimal or no discomfort. Aftercare is always provided including a check-in phone call later that evening. His well-appointed office and equipment are state-of-the-art. The supporting staff includes: Nadia, the uber-skilled dental assistant, Bliss, the consummate hygienist, and Debra, the ever cheerful and very professional office manager. I seldom give rave reviews for any product or service but a 5-star rating here is very much deserved!

Nelson Y Howard DDS – Do not use this dentist I give them a 5 broken tooth rating ☹with a $$$$$ for cost.
They are located right next to Albertsons across the street from Lake San Marcos.
Please do not use these people they ripped me off for 201.00 and are trying to bill me another $109. I am insured with great coverage. I am 100% covered for any out-of-network dentists to get an examination and annual cleanings. I had an evaluation and a cleaning with them and they are billing me and they refuse to work with me to resolve.
The odd thing I noticed was that during the initial examination, the TV they used for watching movies and shows while waiting was set up right in front of me. As soon as they turned on the camera explorer to look at my mouth, the screen had a definite yellow color, overlaying everything. They continued to try and sell me a tooth whitening service. I said no way. They also wanted me to have a few services performed costing thousands of dollars. They wanted to fix a “gum and tooth issue” that no other dentist has even raised an eyebrow about. If you value a good and honest dentist, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

So happy with Dr. Howard and his staff !! They have consistently kept my dental health in such a great place for many years. His credentials are amazing and I have never had to take any pain relievers after his surgeries. Highly recommend his services to anyone in North County San Diego.
