This review covers 5 visits spanning 5 months. I say this so that it's clear my review is based off consistency and not a one-time fluke. I had to get upper and lower wisdom teeth extracted and I was nervous about it for many reasons. In order to move forward I was going to need someone who was calming but confident in their work, a clear communicator and someone I could trust since I opted for IV sedation. Dr. Soelberg is all of those qualities and was consistent for every visit. The procedure itself went smoothly, faster than expected too. I required follow-up visits and Dr. Soelberg was super understanding during that time, answered every question I had and helped me get to where I needed to be. He's great. Everything is healing well and I am so glad I came to NCOFSC. You are in good hands there. 🙂 I want to thank a few techs that worked there too; Zoe and Jessica were awesome. One of the patient care reps I think her name was Ashley? Sorry I forget, but she was super nice and helpful. I liked a lot of the staff there, good team. Thanks so much everyone!!

Can't thank Dr. Thompson enough, I was able get an appointment the same day I called for a tooth emergency. Lauryn and Cassidy were so helpful and kind, the Dr. and his assistant Yessenia got me in and out quickly and painlessly. Couldn't recommend this office enough, all the staff is amazing. Dr. Soelberg is worth flying over 2k+ miles for. Literally.

I’m not normally one to write reviews, but without reviews/recommendations we wouldn’t have found Dr. Soelberg, so we’re paying it forward.

Our son’s case was highly unique and we knew would require a skilled surgeon to be able to pull off everything he needed to have done successfully. We were fortunate enough to connect with Dr. Soelberg through personal recommendation and felt it would be worth flying- even all the way from Tennessee- for this surgery.

Watching your child go under for any procedure is difficult, but Dr. Soelberg did what no other surgeon has for us- so far above and beyond. He took great time to walk us through his surgical plan, his contingency plans for any complications that could potentially arise (we had a lot of work to be done), and spent a considerable amount of time reassuring us and answering our questions.

Our son’s procedure went off without a single hitch and his recovery was shockingly fast- no doubt due to Dr. Soelberg’s attention to detail. We’re obviously hoping not to have to undergo any more dental surgery (again thanks to Dr. Soelberg) but if we ever do again in the future- there is no question who we will see. We can’t recommend Dr. Soelberg and staff at North County Oral & Facial Surgery Center (Encinitas) enough.

This place is amazing! I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last Friday which I had been nervous about for quite a while. I got a consultation done a few days beforehand where I was greeted by Kayla & Tina up front, and they were both so friendly and sweet which in itself is very comforting; they were also extremely helpful with all my questions. The waiting time was so quick before I got taken back both times. Silvia was the surgical assistant that was with me during the consultation and the actual procedure, and I can not emphasize enough just how great she is. I think I exploded all of my questions that I had about everything on her which she answered happily and diligently. I remember right before I was put under for the surgery that I said, “I’m nervous” and she calmly touched my shoulder and reassured me. I seriously loved having her there! The day of my surgery, Stephanie was up front that early morning when my nerves were the most tense, but she was so cool (my partner who was waiting for me met her when she told her to pull around to pick me up and agrees that she was very nice). I also met another amazing surgical assistant named Anthony who was just as reassuring and friendly. Dr. Thompson was the surgeon, and maybe I’m just biased at this point but he was the BEST. Here I am on day 6 and feeling totally fine! Although I am of course sore, it is not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I have been to places where I have gotten procedures done and the people there don’t care because they deal with it all the time, but everyone at this office made me feel like I was their only patient and that they’d do anything they could for me which is so sweet. Anyway, I 10000/10 recommend them a million times over!

Please take some time and do some research before choosing this office. The Dr. seems competent and great at his job but some of the staff are horrible. If you’re looking for great customer service. This is not it. Called with an important question, received an attitude from the receptionist who never actually answered my question. Asked to speak to the manager, she was nicer but never followed through. My question was never answered. She never called back when she said she would. I never received a confirmation for my appointment. I had to call my referring dentist to get answers. Some of the staff are just immature and it’s not a friendly environment. Honestly, for what they’re charging, find somewhere else that provides exceptional service from start to finish.
