I consulted 2 orthodontists and chose Dr. Pulvers as my first ever orthodontist (as an adult) because the whole office staff is extremely friendly. They also pick up phone calls right away, with no hold time at all.

Dr. Pulver pointed out that I need double jaw surgery to fix my bite, suggesting bringing my lower jaw back, while the other ortho that I consulted did not mention anything about it.

Dr. Pulver is spot on about me needing DJS as the surgeon in LA agreed with it, but they did not agree with setting my lower jaw back. Instead the surgeon's plan is to do CCW + bringing both jaws forward.

One caveat though, if you don't go with CCOMS for the surgery, they will drop you as a patient as they have dropped me after I informed them that I do not intend to go with CCOMS for surgery. They offered a full refund for the treatment that I've paid for, and I should get it in the next week via snail mail.

I should also point out that they offer Spark Aligner, LightForce Braces, and KLOwen Braces, all of which are the leading technology (Spark is better than Invaslign in my opinion).

Overall, I recommend them, but just be aware that if you need jaw surgery, Dr. Pulvers only work with local surgeons, mostly CCOMS.
