The staff that handles the scheduling is terrible! I’m native and drive all the way from Sacramento to get my dental work done here because I thought I was going somewhere who cared and valued me as a patient. This morning was the 3rd time this year I have drove all the way there and upon arrival they tell me my appointment has been canceled! No phone call or voicemail warning, not even any care to try and squeeze me in to get my cleaning done. Just a simple “there’s nothing we can do we already scheduled over your time”. I’ve been going here for over 7 years now, and it’s slowly gotten worse, you’ve now lost a longtime patient. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I hate to complain or do bad reviews man it stinks cause I’m not this kind of person but it has to be done. This review not at all is the care I’ve gotten from dr Martinez she is AMAZING. I’ve been sick for over a week the nurse called me to get a same day video chat appointment. I called and the receptionist who btw has no clue as to what we talked about nor does she have the right to judge why I’m sick or need to be rude. I’m completely dissatisfied with her tone and the way she spoke to me. Please just Do your job and schedule the appointment and don’t give me attitude. I understand you need to ask questions but I was told to do this so don’t be rude. I get it we all have bad days or get annoyed with clients/customers but there is a fine line of customer service and she doesn’t have it. I’ll be back because of how amazing my doctor has been but this receptionist for medical was RUDE.

I’m writing this to complain about the current psychiatrist you guys have hired. My mom and I have been on the same medicine for years and after having been admitted to the psychiatric hospital I had to be seen by her and I had asked her if she could adjust my medicine or give me a more frequent medicine because I was having full blown manic episodes from my bipolar. She proceeded to start an argument with me regarding my medicine and that “I’m sorry if you don’t like my answer”. She then accused my mom and doing something with her medicine when she had asked for a refill and now we’re both falling into our depression. She needs to be evaluated and talked to seriously about her treatment towards patients because this isn’t the first encounter she’s at. She has multiple bad reviews on google from other patients stating she starts arguments when she wants to do things her way. My mom and I have been patients for years and have worked tremendously with previous psychiatrist UNTIL her. She’s a joke and needs to be fired because she caused both my mom and I an extreme amount of pain and now we both have to seek treatment elsewhere where they take mental health seriously. Bipolar diagnosis is serious and high suicide results in the lack of medicine that you’ve been on for YEARS. She needs her license taken away and sadly facilities support their doctors more than the patient needs so I don’t have high hopes for this feedback I’m giving you.

Dr Lewis is wonderful, caring, compassionate. I have a serious medical condition and he has helped me navigate meds, specialist care, and always does a mental health check in to see how im handling it all. The entire staff is GREAT ! They treat you like a friend no a client. Dr. Martinez is equally lovely. I can't say enough good things

I do live far away from this clinic but I always look forward to seeing Christina’s smiling face when I walk in. Also, Dr. Martinez is pretty amazing too, she is very honest and informative.

Very clean and professional. I was referred here for a wisdom tooth extraction that was going to be done by an experienced dentist. The nurse went over everything with me in great detail when I went in for a consultation. She told me what to expect with the surgery and we discussed options regarding novocaine and nitrous oxide. The staff was thorough and helpful. Unfortunately, my surgery appointment was cancelled due to COVID-19 closures, but I would definitely recommend the Woodland office to anyone needing dental services.

I was later referred to the NVIH in Willows to complete the wisdom tooth extraction and I had an awful experience. So my advice is to go to the Woodland office if you are needing services at Northern Valley Indian Health.

Firs i would like to say. I'm new in the area. I was looking for good DRs and PA. It was very easy to get in to see a DR. All the staff is amazing. I have been treated with such respect from all the staff and PA's. I really like my P.A. he is kind and very thorough. I cant give all of them enough stars. Thank you all. Susan Hauptman
