2/6/24 I met Dr. Jones about 3 years , so yes it has been a min since I have seen her been in her care due to my complex health history. So after we played catch up, it just pl Pleasant as I remember, the Office team greeted us with smiles and friendly conversation. The dental tech was a gentle breeze with my x-rays and of course, Dr. Jones comes in with a Graciousness that all dentist should have, she took her time to introduce herself to my story and to get a clear understanding of my health needs. We made a very clear and precise dental care plan and we were off to work. She has a very light touch to her hands, and I know that I’m in good hands. I would recommend everyone come to see Dr. Jones even if you have fear of the dentist I recommend her 100% I have no fear of the dentist, but my partner does and even she’s extremely comfortable with Dr. Jones. The office is extremely clean. Everyone is so kind and understanding and willing to assist you in every way that they can and I don’t give recommendations just all willy-nilly so *•, I don’t give stars often and I’m looking forward to Us working together, and I like the way she explains every it so clear and precise

I've been coming here for years now. The front team members, dental hygienists, and doctors are all very friendly and truly make your time worthwhile. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen. The environment is very clean and welcoming. I always walk out feeling like a have a new set of teeth! I highly recommend!

Dr. Chelsea Jones is the best! She is knowledgeable and very professional. She explains procedures thoroughly, while allowing for any questions you may have. Every appointment is always a calm, and comfortable experience. The office is always clean and Dr. Jones and her staff show a genuine concern about your oral health and well-being.

Can a trip to the dentist be pleasurable? Absolutely yes! Such excellent work and good social interactions- it’s a fun trip and I got my teeth cleaned and polished painlessly as a bonus

Disclaimer: I have insurance so I can’t speak to pricing. What I paid is what it cost when I had the same procedure at another dental office with insurance. Others clients may not be using insurance so I won’t be able to give an accurate review on cost.

As for the staff, the WHOLE staff is kind. From the front to the back; from my phone call to make the appointment to the dental assistant building rapport right away, to the dentist and the hygienist whom the dentist made a point to introduce, they were all very kind. They make you feel safe, let you know what’s happening, and gently remind you how important it is to take care of your teeth without shaming you. They will also make sure you leave knowing what you are paying for and, in my case, what I need to set up appointments for and what kinds of costs I can expect. (Again with my specific insurance).

The waiting room is cute. I love the plug for their Instagram account which is filled with pictures of the staff celebrating one another.

The space — at least where I was, was kind of in the open — walls but no doors. So, if you’re shy or prefer privacy, maybe you can see if you can ask about one of the rooms that’s further in. I didn’t think about that when I sat down, but, everyone was respectful. And the way the staff talked to me didn’t make me feel like I had to be ashamed or hide.

Anyway, I don’t usually make super long review posts, but Oak Park Dental is really great you guys. Highly recommend.

The staff is warm and welcoming. Our Dentist was so friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. It’s such a good feeling when you find trustworthy and caring medical professionals. We love this place!

Also, giving a low review for less than transparent billing practices. We decided to try a new dentist because our previous dentist (who we really loved) was very popular and just too difficult to schedule with. We went to Oak Park Dental studio. They wanted to fill small cavities that our previous dentist had said we could just watch and wait on…. Ok, fine. So we filled them. A month or two later, my tooth broke. They were able to get me in, but ultimately had to send me home after numbing my mouth because they couldn’t work their x-ray equipment. I came back two days later and was able to have my tooth repaired. The dentist suggest I come back for a full exam and cleaning. I was due anyway so I came back the following week. In the course of discussing my teeth the dentist told me I needed braces. I do not need braces. “I just mean Invisalign” she said. I’m so put off by this. There are Invisalign ads all over the office and she is the only DDS I have ever seen that thought I needed braces, in fact the just the opposite: every other dentist I’ve ever seen has been surprised that I never had braces. I really felt like she was trying to sell me on a multi-thousand dollar treatment because she thought I could be convinced of it, not because it was medically indicated for any reason.

Then because they charged me for two separate exams over the course of two weeks, insurance denied my second exam and I was stuck paying out of pocket. It was close to $300, a very unwelcome surprise bill at the beginning of an already expensive holiday season. When I called the office to pay, I told the secretary that I was disappointed in the office because I felt I had been taken advantage of. Our previous dentist didn’t charge us for an exam when one of our kids broke a tooth in gym that needed repair. And they certainly told us in advance if we had exhausted our benefits or if a treatment would not be covered and what we should be prepared to pay. I told the secretary we’d likely not be coming back and she suggested they could waive one of the exams. I told her that would be appreciated, but we’d likely not be coming back. She then took payment for the full amount, apparently no longer interested in waiving the fee for the exam. I’d avoid, they really just seem like they’re trying to squeeze every last dime out of you.

I have been going to Oak Park Dental Studio the past 3-4 years ago and have been so happy with the service. They recognize me and ask how I've been - a real, small business, family feel. As someone who had a fear of the dentist for longer than I care to admit, Dr. Jones and her team have made me feel so comfortable every visit. Recently, rather than go to one of the fancy children's dentists with my 2-year-old, I took her where I trust, to see Dr. Jones! I am so incredibly glad I did! She made my toddler feel right at home and had her laughing and talking about how fun the dentist was for the rest of the day! Thank you to Oak Park Dental Studio for making us feel right at home!
