Dr. Cho and the team took great care of me. Their office was comfy for my mom to wait in according to her. The speedy consult and all 4 wisdom teeth extractions took place in under an hour, and the IV sedation worked great; no memories and no pain. Got to keep a trophy tooth souvenir too πŸ™‚

The only issue was with my Dental insurance, but that was not because of Pacific Coast OMS, just because Delta Dental only decided to cover up to a set limit. So I had to kick in a bit out of pocket. I wish I had known about that beforehand (was around half of the overall so no light copay), but it is what it is.

Regrettably I was referred to Dr. Nam Cho for my wisdom teeth extraction. I opted for the general anesthesia. I've never had any experience in wisdom teeth extraction before so I didn't know what to expect or prepare. The day of my appointment I arrived an hour early. I was hoping to get some information about what to expect from the procedure. Nope. He didn't explain anything about the process or the procedure. Instead Dr. Cho put a needle in my arm and put me to sleep. My husband later told me the whole process was ten minutes when the doctor came out to say I was done. I remember how the doctor rushed me in and out. There was no one in the waiting room. I felt like I was treated with such negligence and so coldly. He could have spent 5-10 minutes explaining what he was planning to do to my wisdom teeth and how I can be cautious about preventing dry sockets. Instead afterwards they wheelchaired me outside and gave a leaflet flyer to my husband to read on how to recover. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone.

I was referred to this office for a wisdom tooth extraction and I must say that everyone there was so professional, friendly and very helpful. Dr. Allen Huang was AWESOME. All of the nurses were so very nice.

Dr. Cho was extremely wonderful and professional. He was able to calm me during the entire procedure (I have a tendency to be nervous). The nurses were A+ also. Front desk people were all friendly and nice-looking πŸ™‚

After PPO insurance it was about $150 for two teeth. I had local anesthesia.

I had a better recovery timeline than when I had my wisdom teeth (left side) removed in China. So USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ No. 1 LOL πŸ˜‚

I went to get two impacted wisdom teeth removed, and I was super nervous. I read a review on Yelp on how the consultation fee ($200) is waived if you get the teeth removed the same day, so that is what I did to save some money. Leading up to the day, I was scared and worried on how the surgery would be and the recovery process, but thankfully, it was not as terrible or traumatic as I imagined. The price was decent considering I have no dental insurance too. $425 per tooth and that's the highest price they charge!

The day of the appointment, the lady at the desk (Debbie I believe) was super friendly. I was allowed to bring a panoramic x-ray from another dentist and emailed it to her, saving another fee for x-rays. Then, I went in for a consultation where I met Dr. Nam Cho. He was friendly as well, explaining what he would be doing to remove the teeth and asking if I had any questions. Then, I signed a consent form and paid the fees at the front before being brought in to the "surgery room." The nurses(?) were also super nice. She took my blood pressure and then Dr. Cho came in to numb the areas. It wasn't too painful, just a pinch here and there on both sides. I was left alone for like ten minutes before they came back to begin the procedure. I was allowed to bring in earphones so I had my music playing while they did the surgery. Happy to say that it was not as traumatic as you would think for a procedure done awake. I only felt pressure, heard some cracking and drilling sounds, and smelled the nasty scent of your teeth (like when you get a filling). Nothing out of the ordinary. Also, I have to say that Dr. Cho was super caring, periodically checking on me and making sure I wasn't in pain. When he was on my second tooth, I felt some nerve pain so I let him know and he immediately injected more local anesthesia. The entire thing took 30 minutes at most. I got dissolved stitches on both sides. I was asked if I regretted not going to sleep at the end, and I immediately shook my head. As a woman, this surgery was nothing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this clinic and am planning to come back again for another wisdom teeth. I got prescribed antibiotics and some painkillers. A week later, I am feeling almost back to normal and so glad to have these pesky teeth removed.

Oral surgeon was great, really helped me when I developed an infection. However, the office staff are horrible. I went in with an appointment and was told it would take 30-45 min and I'd be done. I left 2 hours later. Beware that they make you pay half, even with insurance. And once my claim was processed I had been over charged, and they never called or sent mail to say they were going to issue a refund. Trying to get the refund was annoying. Darcy was rude and dismissive the entire call. I had to schedule a time to call back because Darcy was "too busy" to help me. When I did call back the process took less than five minutes, but she was still rude to me. I will never recommend this office to anyone.

Very professional and easy to talk to. I had a simple referral for a second opinion but I would be confident having Dr. Cho as my dentist.
