Patterson recently changed their minimum operating requirement to 12 months. Not a single email was sent to established Carriers. Imagine my surprise when I called and booked a load, only to be called back saying I couldn’t haul for them because of my operating authority, despite already hauling for them without issue in the recent past.
Their reasoning for this change is double brokering, fraud, theft, etc. Understandable, but a notice would have been great. As a Carrier who has run for them without issue, I’m just floored at the lack of communication about the change. When a Carrier is on a load, they want 24/7 communication access, but an issue like this doesnt seem to warrant communication from their end.

Love it here and love the peterbilt 579 that I'm in. They keep me moving, and I always keep in contact with the brokers or the dispatchers, so I'm not sitting. I don't have anything bad to say about this company at all. All companies are gonna have their ups and downs that's just trucking in general. Show respect and be honest to them, and they will show it to you back, and they don't call you by your truck number cause everyone who works in the office knows you by name.

I would be very very careful working with this compoany for the following reason, rates are super low, dont pay detentnion, dont pay layover, doesnt care about a carrier too cocky to work with them keep them out of business, close their doors horrible horrble comapny! There must be a reson for 2.9 avg, think about this when booking better wait oppertunity will be better for sure.

I use to work with Paul, Jason and Rob and Patterson in general. Really nice guys. We could cover a lot of loads every weeks, I hope we can work together in a future guys.

This company did me so wrong. I wait 24 hour for load. The load was already too cheap !He promise me detention. Over and over again. I drove 700 mile in day to delivery. After we send him the bol. They refuse yo pay detention and say the load was late. Im going home to haiti with the bol to cry to a voodoo swine for them.
