I ended up doing my wisdom teeth removal here yesterday, hospitality was there. I loved my surgeon Dr Coffey she was amazing and my nurses who were there for me! 10/10 would recommend.

I really liked the layout of this place and how professional the staff were! I’ll definitely be doing my surgery here. It’s so clean and the parking is downstairs which is so convenient

I recently visited Peninsula Center Dental Implants & Oral Surgery for a wisdom tooth extraction, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The biggest issue was the lack of clear and consistent communication regarding post-op expectations.

My procedure was at 9 AM, and despite following all the aftercare instructions, I was still bleeding heavily at 7 PM—much longer than I was originally told to expect. When I called back for clarification, the information I received was completely different from what was explained to me in the chair earlier that day. Mainly this was around how long I should leave gauze in (30 min in office & 45-1hr on phone post operation). I was also not told that I should try to eat something in the morning because there’s a chance you might be bleeding for 12 hours!

This left me feeling frustrated and misinformed at a time when I was already uncomfortable and concerned.

Overall, I had a bad experience and would not recommend this office for anyone needing a similar procedure. Clear, accurate post-op guidance is crucial for patient care, and unfortunately, that was lacking here.

I had an exemplary experience at this organization. I required the extraction of two wisdom teeth that were precariously close to the nerve, and my general dentist referred me here. Remarkably, I did not experience any loss of sensation, which would have been the worst-case scenario. Furthermore, they assisted me in locating an in-network dentist to minimize my out-of-pocket expenses. I highly recommend Peninsula Center Dental Implant.

I have some physical challenges with dental work (and can’t do full anesthesia) but Dr Coffey and her team were amazing. They made sure I was comfortable and the tricky extraction was magically over in no time! Such a relief (both physically and mentally).

Unfortunately the home care instructions were very confusing (what I was told when medicated did not match what was on the standard printouts, plus the format was like a Wikipedia article rather than a set of instructions). I had to call back multiple times and talk to poorly informed staff before getting clarification from my doctor.

Five stars for surgery, zero for after care communication.

Peninsula Center Dental is
phenomenal. Firstly, it's interior is immaculate and welcoming. Secondly, throughout my extraction and implant process I felt very little discomfort if at all. I didn't even have the sedation.

Dr. Coffey is also by far the best dentist I've had. She explained all of the procedures very clearly and patiently. She is very methodical in her work, this is evidenced by her gentle and yet practiced operation in the mouth. Most dentists I've had will thrust their hand in your mouth like plumber with a pipe. Do not let the gentle demeanor steer you away however, she also has the tenacity to swiftly crush and extract teeth. The experience was so pleasant that it's sad to be done with treatment, I'll need to arrange for more implants straight away (sarcasm).
Don't  you think its just beautiful to know there's a dentist that will revel in how many newtons of torque she applied to your implant? I do.

When my excruciatingly painful molar could not be saved, I was referred to Dr. Khoury and thankfully he was able to take care of this the same day, a Friday afternoon, so I wouldnt be left in pain over a holiday weekend. Staff was excellent. Everything was explained to my satisfaction and the financial details were transparent. I'd say the consistent 5 star reviews are warranted.
