Hillary had me scheduled for 10-14-2024 at 8:00am. I am self employed and went out on Sunday and worked 9 hours. Drove out from the Kent Des Moines area today to accommodate my commitment and there was no classes until 1:00pm. I was in there parking lot this morning at 7:30am. Finally received a call today at 4:25 from a office manager, her attitude was rude and offered no solution. You have been warned. Stay away. Find another school.

Hillary provided me a great recommendation for some PFAS-free dental floss which I’ve found to be difficult to locate. I tried out her recommendation, Cocofloss, which I found to be really good. She was friendly and listened to my concerns about PFAS in dental products. Would recommend seeing Hillary!

I used to enjoy this clinic and have referred friends and family until my last experience on 04/01/24.

My husband came in for his appointment and I came to accompany him. Before the appointment began, the student tells me that I have to leave and wait outside. (A bit confused and perplexed, because prior to this appointment I’ve accompanied my parents to their appointments and have sat with them throughout the entire operation, countless times.)

I could overhear her professor stating that I— was only here to “hang out” which is further from the truth. It seems their “non-existent policy” on allowing a support person, is strictly determined on their mood. And I’m assuming the professor must’ve been in a real bad mood. Phobias are real, being fearful of seeing a dentist is real. Not sure why the professor had to be so crude. If you don’t allow visitors, that should be legible on your website or patient information.

This is the last time I recommend anyone here to the dental clinic. Customer service- 0 stars.

This past Fall was my first experience with the clinic and I can't say enough good things about my care. From the instructors and students, it was a great experience. The attention to detail and thoroughness is something that I haven't experienced at a dentist appointment in a long time.

Just keep in mind that it can be very time consuming, and there may be a lot of appointments due to requirements the students must meet and what you need done. IMO, it's worth it for the level of care you'll get. Not only are the students great, but everything is gone over to make sure it's 100% and up to standards.

Definitely going to keep coming back for my routine care!

What a great place, the people and the environment was so great and definitely recommend it. The students work very hard and help you feel comfortable so if you normally have a tough time going to a dentist to get your cleanings or anything this will make that so much easier. I would like to thank Mina for her help she has worked on a couple of my family members and we all have nothing but great things to say about her and how great of a job she does.

If your looking for a way to help your community, this is it! Being a patient here is not only beneficial for you and your oral health - but you are helping these students in their education to become your future hygienists! Prices are unbeatable and even since I didn’t have state insurance (the only insurance accepted) I was still able to send my expenses into my private insurance and get reimbursed. Definitely recommending this clinic to friends and family!

I’ve been going to Pierce College Dental Clinic every 6 months since 2017. I’ve had such thorough care and treatment I ended up changing my daughter’s dental care to Pierce as well. I love that they take Provider One dental insurance because it is extremely difficult to get into other providers with this type of insurance. I would 10/10 recommend making that call to schedule an appointment. In regard to COVID, it shows that they make safety a top priority! You won’t be disappointed 😁🦷

The most detailed dental exam of my life! Most people don't know Pierce College has a dental clinic where students practice their skills under the supervision of licensed dental professionals so if you're looking for high quality affordable dental care, this is the place! The appointments are longer than those in a regular office but the different assessments are very detailed and you learn so much about your oral health and how to improve it. I would highly recommend this place!!!
