After waiting an hour+, the Dr told me I was too fat to have the dental surgery I needed. She never looked in my mouth or ask any questions. I traveled a good distance to get there for NOTHING, not even a plan. I called my original dentist and they were shocked and disagreed with this other dentist. I'm not unrealistic about my weight, and have plenty of procedures in a similar setting with the same anesthesia.

Due to the surgeon negligence, I was still dealing with pain and discomfort four months after my surgery. There was a left over dead bone fragment, which wasn't removed until my 3rd follow up. The first two times I went after my surgery, he barely even checked the areas. The second follow up, I went after a month and half of the initial surgery telling them I was in still a lot of pain, he told me I was fine but when I went to another dentist to get their opinion they noticed the INFECTION and left over bone fragment that the original surgeon look at and told me it was "completely fine and perfect." He said it was the size of a pencil led tip when it was actually a larger piece, probably closer to a size of a dime. The office were very nice and pleasant, the surgeon was negligent and disrespectful for treating my concerns like an overreaction when it was clearly a problem.

This is the WORST Oral Surgeon I've EVER been to! I had the remaining teeth I had removed; so, I can get dentures, "mind you", 'I'm 87 lbs", and "Lewis Clayman" left a "dead bone", he called it, on the left side of the bottom of my mouth; so, I went back due to it cutting my tongue, he cut it completely off, leaving a hole, and now the area in front of the hole is lying down completely across the entire crease of the bottom of my lip! I'm not sure, at this point, and it's been 5 weeks if/or when it will heal good enough to get dentures or EVER eat again!!!

At age 63, I still have all of my teeth. Part of the reason this is so is that at age 51 I ignored Dr. Clayman's advice to extract all four of my lower incisors. Beware of this doctor recommending painful, expensive and needless work.

Dr Clayman has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced! An outstanding oral surgeon with clear and caring communication. My family has been going to him for years and I always walk out of there with a smile. His staff is as lovely as him!

I have been to this location twice for Dr. Clayman and his staff and I cannot rave enough.
I am very afraid of dentists and procedures, but his staff is always so quick to make me comfortable and put my mind at ease.
Offices are incredibly clean, admin staff is wonderful and overall love coming here, despite my fear.

Went yesterday for extraction... However the communication was great.But the work on my mouth was horrific!.... I was jabbed in the mouth with my lidocaine injections no gentle care... I expressed that I had anxiety and thought that he would be gentle with care.... 5 injections in my mouth and up top ridge jabbed injections...I didn't have a pleasant experience!... My gums were cut... And though it was difficult to remove my tooth... I was didn't feel like I would return.

And yes I paid for laughing Gas!.... No apologies needed!.... I feel MediCal patient gets the treatment of roughness and...no ma'am!....

Yes staff were Kind .... They have to be aware of this type of treatment with patients.....

From my consultation down to the day of my surgery Pinole Oral Surgery has been amazing. They're quick with responses, and they do their best to ensure I understand my procedure. Went in for wisdom tooth removal, unfortunately a day or two before my surgery they called letting me know that their office had flooded, but they were super quick to let me know their sister location in Vallejo was able to take the same day originally set for my surgery in the afternoon and my surgery was already booked and set. I really appreciated them for that! You will be in good hands with them and the staff are super kind and accommodating, I am sure it would have been the same if I had done my surgery there as well 🙂
