I do not at all recommend this place. I have only found one good hygienist that works there (Mary), all the others scraped my mouth really bad. The dentists have 0 bedside manner and are rude, and so is the office staff generally. It takes forever to get an appointment even as an established patient - I called the first week of February to get an appointment, and was told I had to call back the next week just to TRY to get an appointment in April. Ridiculous.

I'll also add that most of their 5 star reviews are several years old. I think they've gone downhill a lot the last few years.

I’ve had 2 hand scaling cleanings done in the past year. Both cleanings, the hygienist had me out of her chair in less than 15 minutes. I’ve been getting my teeth cleaned for years and have never had appointments take 15 minutes. Generally it’s 45 minutes with a slow attention to detail. My cleanings with this hygienist felt rushed and incomplete. In addition, the hygienist had no communication with the dentist about my recession, how my teeth appeared or measurements. I’m transferring to another dental practice.

The experience of these doctors are unmatched. Dr. Allen always takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly and is beyond gentle with my work. I love the genuine care I receive and I will never go anywhere else! If you have dental anxiety and/or a busy schedule like myself this office is very accommodating to my specific needs and preferences. Walked into Aeris Dental on Houghton as it is closer to my house. After reading reviews for Dr. Allen, I decided to book an appointment with him. I am big on good references. I went in for my appointment and glad I did. Dr. Allen and Shawn are amazing! Felt taken care of and I am headed to my next appointment as we speak. The Aeris Family Dental practice is the best is so many ways! From the moment you walk in, the friendliness of the staff and the comfortable atmosphere make the experience a good one. Our children were always happy to go see the dentist because they loved how gentle and kind Dr. Alston & Allen were to them. Now that they are older and on their own, they compare every dentist to Dr. Alston & Allen and haven't found anyone in their area that quite matches up!
These dentists explain everything in a easy manner that you understand. Their Assistants and Hygienist's are simply top-notch and make you comfortable in the chair.
You will be NOT be sorry to make this office your dentist choice, it's like seeing your favorite family members when you come in.
