Not only a great place to have my teeth put into a order, but just a great place overall, between the friendly staff and the comfortable environment, getting my braces touched up has become a highlight among the many months, I don’t think I would want to get my braces from anywhere else, because I don’t think any place else could be as skillful, gentle, or understanding as here. Dr. Prater and team have always been inviting. It took me a couple years of coming in and out to decide on getting my teeth fixed. They never pressured me and always told me what was going on. I finally went through with it after seeing my teeth shifting the way she predicted from previous pictures done over my past pictures. They have been very accommodating with scheduling and are great about reminding you of upcoming appointments.

I am a Phoenix transplant new to San Diego and was searching high and low for an orthodontist to care for my teeth after having been with the same dentist for nearly 30 years in Arizona. I was very concerned that I would not be able to find the same quality care in California with all the new laws and insurance problems and all the other daunting experiences that we Americans now face in the healthcare field. I was referred to Rancho Delray orthodontics by Dr.Shahrzad Prather DMD and she and her staff made me feel very welcome from the moment I stepped through their office door. The practices conveniently located in Chula Vista right off the freeway. The waiting room is very nice and comfortable and I was not overwhelmed with 1000 questions and numerous pages of paperwork, it was very easy and comfortable experience.The dental office clinic where you’re seen is in an open floorplan so it’s very friendly and conducive for the staff and patient. Dr. Shasta as she is known by her patients did a thorough job of x-rays and pictures and asking a lot of questions and explaining herself all along the way, making safe recommendations. I didn’t feel like I was on a conveyor belt and another number. I truly felt like one of the family being treated. It was overall a very good experience and I would sincerely recommend Rancho Del Ray orthodontics and staff.
