I am not sure about the process, but I found him to be brisk and u caring about my discomfort. He came in and didn't say 10 words to me before starting to remove my stitches. There was no explanation he just started cutting and pulling, hurting my gums with his instruments. He seemed to get iratated when I pulled away.

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to any dental office and I have to say this was the BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist. This was my first experience with Dr. Remerschied and I was very comfortable there. He understand my fear and promised they would take care of me. He and the other nurses comforted me and made me feel very good before I went under. The procedure was very quick and they treated me with such care. I'm on day 3 of recovery and it looks very good and everything is healing nicely. I actually want as sore as I had expected! I would honestly go back here before I go anywhere else. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Dr. Remerschied was funny, gentle, and comforting. A++!!

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. The experience was great. Very friendly receptionists and nurses. Doctor was very kind and made me feel at ease. My surgery went great and I couldn’t imagine a better experience elsewhere. Thank you guys for taking care of me.

Disappointment in every direction.

My dentist referred me to this office for a tooth extraction that had an exposed nerve, which was occasionally very painful. RIver Valley scheduled the consultation a week later. At the time of the consult, they took a "panoramic" x ray and the oral surgeon came in for the brief consult. He said the extraction appointment would be two months away, but they would try to get me in sooner if there was a cancellation.

Several days later, I was having sharp pain and called them to see if they could prescribe something. They did and I was very grateful.

A week after that, I saw a friend was going to an oral surgeon in Fayetteville. They had a good referral and I was in pain, so I called them. They said I could come in _the_next_day_ for a consult. I then followed up by going to both my dentist and River Valley and asked them to send the xrays they had taken up to the oral surgeon in Fayetteville.

At the consult in Fayetteville the next day, they started to take xrays. I told them I had asked my dentist and River Valley to send the xrays they had taken recently. The Fayetteville oral surgeon said the dentist had sent theirs, but River Valley had not. They contacted River Valley, who did quickly send them, but the xrays were not in enough detail even though they were for the exact same thing, so I had to get another panoramic xray done in Fayetteville. After a brief exam, they said they could do the extraction THE NEXT DAY. There were no two months to wait in pain.

From there, the service was excellent, but I can't make a comparison to how River Valley would have done.

Last week, I received a bill from River Valley for the panoramic xray. I called my insurer and they said River Valley had not filed a claim for the service.

I have no evaluation on the quality of how an extraction would be by River Valley, but every other aspect was, at best, uninspired and uncaring. I can't imagine why a medical professional would ambivalently allow someone to remain in pain for two months rather than suggest checking for faster treatment elsewhere.

I know medical and dental have to be businesses as well as healers, but are his earnings so important to make a patient suffer needlessly?

I am halfway through my second implant here. The first was four years ago. I have never felt scared or uncomfortable. Expectations are set with great communication. All insurance is taken care of thoroughly, including coordinating with my DDS. I have had the best experience possible.

From the lady at the front desk to the ladies in the back I was not impressed! The dr was very sweet and thorough. BUT they made some very rude and hurtful comments about my husband when they thought I was asleep still... they didn’t send me home with any ice packs after the surgery and sent me with hardly any packs to keep my gums packed with. I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Maybe they had an off day? Idk. Didn’t leave a good impression on me or my family though.

I have to say BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! First of all, I have crippling anxiety when it comes to dentists. I also suffer from TMJ disorder. These folks put me right at ease. Put me under, 14 minutes later I was waking up, feeling very little pain. Kept expecting the pain to ramp up horribly when the novocain wore off, like it did the last time I had this done at another dentist. Nope! Today I thought I'd be in agony when I woke up. Again, Nope!!!! Just slightly swollen, as opposed to the last time when I looked like Frankenstein. Pain is there, but not even close to unbearable. My jaw doesn't even hurt too badly. If you have to get any work done, and need an oral surgeon, GO HERE! Professional, compassionate service and a top notch surgeon who is obviously highly skilled.

The surgery went great and the doctor and most of the staffs were nice. But when I called back after surgery to ask a question, the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. She didn’t even try to help and I just ended up looking at 4 different sites to get the answer to my question after hanging up.
