A true surfers dentist lol. My family and I are so happy to have found this place. Coming from a person with anxiety around dentist I’m normally at ease after a few minutes. The energy of this dentist office is great, understanding, caring and respectful. I have found when it comes to children they are great. In general I have found that Dr.Allen isn’t eager to do unnecessarily potentially invasive treatments unlike a former dentist I have been to with children. Great bedside manner. Glad to have a dentist we can trust with our family.

I recently had a dental emergency when I cracked my tooth and was worried where I would get in for care. Luckily a friend recommended Sabino Hills Family dentistry and I was so glad I went here. They got me right in. Environment was clean, upscale and the technology was high-tech and advanced. The front desk was attentive and kind and my dental assistant was awesome. Dr Dixon was patient and very thorough. She was very knowledgeable and had a gentle hand. Everybody was super nice. I would highly recommend this practice for dental care. I live across town but I'll drive to come see them. You should come check them out.

First off I’d like to say I’m terrified of the dentist. This is the first place I have ever been where I feel comfortable. Dr. Allen is by far the best dentist I have ever had - highly recommend!

My wife had been trying to get an appointment for months at this place due to some dental pain she'd been experiencing. However, the soonest appointment was 3 months out. Sabino Hills Family Dentistry OFFERED to put her on a list to move her up in the schedule as soon as possible. Months passed and her issue got worse, so she ended up calling my dentist with Prime Dental on Craycroft and found something the same week. When she called back to Sabino Hills Family Dentistry to cancel her appointment, folks were suddenly falling over themselves to offer a next-day appointment. Conclusion: The "call list" they offer doesn't exist. You need to threaten to move to another dentistry in order for them to actually care. Something about this office seems unacceptably lazy. To the owners: If you offer to schedule people sooner and it never occurs until your prospective patient decides to find another provider - you're gonna lose them. For a patient to further find out that they could have had a next day appointment if they threatened to go with another provider is INSULTING to the highest degree. Like, seriously? Completely insulting, disrespectful, and LAZY.

Doctor Michael Allen and his incredible staff set themselves apart from the dental industry in so many remarkable ways. From the beautiful aesthetic when you walk in the door to the super sweet receptionists, you feel at home and as if you belong there. They make you feel like family, yet are still extremely professional. I love all the hygienists who have either worked on me or my five year old. I have only been going here a year, but I know I have missed out on 35 years of this manner of treatment. Doctor Allen is not only personable and funny, but he is- hands down- at the very top of the dental game. He is honest. I know this for a fact. Other dentists ion the past have literally pulled things out of their you know what for me to spend more money. I come here an these little made up issues aren't even brought to my attention...Because the issue never existed ! To make a long story short- Whether its my four year old having to have his two front teeth pulled due to falling or my teeth cleaning, we always receive the utmost attention care. Next week I start my journey on veneers. That's one last thing I will add. If you're in the market for veneers (or any cosmetic dental procedure), you need not look any further. Staff was nice, but my husband and I both went there on two separate occasions. They gave us both the same "advanced treatment plans" for our teeth cleanings, despite the fact that my husband and I have very different teeth. Dental insurance won't cover these special treatment plans either. I was there for over an hour getting an exam, but they never did the cleaning. They told us both separately that we have to come back another time and schedule the specialty cleaning they're selling.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Allen’s for over a year now. I have had many dentists over the years and he is, by far, the best I have ever had! I have a fear of getting work done and he, and his staff, are always gentle and understanding. My husband also has started going to him. We are both very pleased with his skill level and professionalism. The dental hygienists are fabulous. I love the vibe and the office staff is amazing. If you are looking for a dentist who is competent, kind and caring this is the office for you!

I always have a great experience with Dr. Allen and the lovely hygienists at Sabino Hills Family Dentistry. I especially love it when Jen cleans my teeth - she is very thorough but also gentle. She is also super nice! The Quality Dental Plan is a great deal for those of us in between dental insurance plans. Dr. Allen makes suggestions to improve the state of your teeth, but I never feel like he is being pushy or salesman-like. He and his team genuinely seem to care about your dental health. I won't go anywhere else!
