They provided a quote for cost for my child for a tooth removal, with insurance was about $100. We scheduled two months later and they never checked insurance now trying to charge over $700 cause they didn’t recheck insurance before providing service. During procedure asked to do more anesthesia and we confirmed it was covered with insurance, they stated yes, then charge me for the shot, saying it wasn’t covered. Terrible customer service. Do NOT go here frauds!

I just left Dr. Sambajon’s office. 3 hours each way (San Mateo). An implant in San Mateo was $6,000 😳. Dr. Sambajon is $2,000+ less.
But it wasn’t just the cost. We worked together when he was at UCSF, then Folsom. 2000 to 2007, 4 implants, 2 sinus lift surgeries. When I met my new local dentist a few years ago, he complimented his work.
It was so great to see Dr. Sambajon again after 15 years. Getting my front tooth implant on December 2!

They did not provide the estimated cost of the consultation and X-ray until after completing it, so we had no option but to pay the $400 just for a consultation appointment, even though they told us beforehand it would be covered by our insurance. They made us wait in the exam room for over an hour before being seen, and we were the first appointment time of the day.

Excellent service.
The office staff and dental assistant were helpful. They implemented sterile procedures and they treated me with dignity.
Dr. Voltaire V. Sambajon, DDS MD constitutes high quality customer service. He greets you in a professional manner. He is knowledgeable of and committed to his profession. He explains the service, cost, options and advises you of any future treatment needed to maintain safe and improved dental health.
He is truly an asset to the profession and to Folsom.
The following day after my procedure I was contacted. I felt he was concerned and wanted to meet any additional needs I may have.
I highly recommend his services.

This Oral Surgery office is horrible and attempts to scam and overcharge their patients. As a previous reviewer stated, beware this office sneaks in a consult fee of $218 and never CLEARLY states this up front. Call around to other dental offices and hardly no one charges for a quality consult. This office then proceeded to quote over $5,000 for a procedure that another dentist in EDH quoted $1,400 for. Do your homework and stay far away from this place. All about the money and very shady business practices. Thank god we have family in the dental field and we’re able to discern their shenanigans...

I really don’t like writing bad reviews, but feel this is needed I highly recommend getting a second opinion I was charged $200 for an X-ray my daughter didn’t need and am now getting the procedure done for $600 less out of pocket through a different surgeon. I feel like whoever is doing the billing is trying spread out the charge for insurance. Not ok.

The staff is very nice and professional. Dr Sambajon is very nice, explains everything throughly and has a great way of putting you at ease. He continually checks on you during the entire procedure to make sure that you are confortable. I was not anxious or nervous during my extraction. I highly recommend!

Reading the reviews, I don't think people should expect spa treatment. It's oral surgery, not a massage. The Dr. is a magician- he gets a tooth out with minimal discomfort and is fast. Thecstaff is professional and thorough with instructions. Post procedure pain was minimal. I was very pleasantly surprised, especially compared to other extractions/implants that were a nightmare.
