Came in for my first appointment yesterday and absolutely loved it! Joanna was my dentist and she explained everything really well as she was checking my teeth. It was the first time I actually enjoyed going to the dentist, would definitely recommend.

Update: After being a patient for Dr. El-Maasri for over a year, I decided to do invisalign braces with her to correct a small gap I had in my teeth. Having had regular braces before, I knew the discomforts that came with them and didn't want to deal with it in my 20s. Doing invisalign was the best decision I made because not only did it correct my teeth in a short amount of time, but also no one had noticed that I even had braces! I 100% recommend anyone to do invisalign ESPECIALLY with Dr. El-Maasri who checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was getting the best results out of them! I went to San Marcos Family Dental for a cleaning and as always Miguel was great. I needed a couple of filings and I was hesitant because I hate needles. Did I mention how much I truly despise them.
I explained my feelings to Dr. Joanna El-Maasri and she made me feel at ease. She added some numbing gel to my gums and walked me through the process, before I knew it she had injected me and I was already numb. It did not hurt at all. I really appreciate her patience and empathy. She's Awesome!
I'm a person that really hates going to the Dentist, however, I would definitely recommend this office.

Amazing experience here! First I want to complement the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. Second, I liked the feel of the office. It wasn't that lifeless sterile environment I've experienced with other offices. While clearly clean and safe, it has a "homely" feel when you're in the chair. I went in for a deep cleaning which was performed by Miguel and he eased my nerves, was very informative and did a fantastic job on removing years of staining that I was self conscious about. I'm really happy with the results and can't recommend this office highly enough.
