Had a great experience at Santa Cruz Family Dentists! They saw me right away and provided a great atmosphere; I usually hate going to the dentist but they were very kind and explained everything to me. They unfortunately were not in my network because if they were I would continue going to this dentist office.

Dr Bob removed two crowns for replacement. His Dad, Dr Bob senior, had done them probably 40 years ago and my gums had receded.
The latest technology is amazing. Digital images were taken and sent to the lab. Only 2 impressions were required and temporaries were put in place. . Process will be completed in 2 weeks and I’ll have a brand new smile.

I had a fantastic experience with getting my annual cleaning and dental exam at Santa Cruz Family Dental. Dr. Sanam was friendly, very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable as she explained everything she saw during my exam, and what she recommends I should do to take better care of my teeth.

I Had a lower incisor that had broke, I contacted Santa Cruz family dentist and they were able to get me in the same day.
Unfortunately the tooth was not savable so it had to be extracted. This morning I woke up with very minimal pain and no bleeding.

I am very appreciative of their ability to see me as soon as they did! Friendly staff and a dentist with a little sense of humor! 😁.

I have been a patient of Santa Cruz Family Dentists for over 10 years. I look forward to seeing my hygienist Jenny . She is sweet, caring, kind, encouraging AND gentle. She has provided me with excellent advice and recommendations for my home dental regimen. With Jenny’s encouragement I bought an electric toothbrush and Water Pik.

I never write reviews, but Dr. Sanam and the whole team deserve rave reviews. You walk in and are greeted with smiles, professionalism, and just pure kindness.
I wanted a tooth implant for years and on a whim decided to just do it. I literally just googled the nearest dentist that provides the services and dove right into it. I'm so thankful I chose Santa Cruz Family Dentist, and I'm so glad Dr. Sanam was my dentist. She's so kind, gentle, and detailed. She was also available for all my concerns and last-minute appointments.
The front office staff were also beyond friendly. They knew my name after my very first appointment. They make you feel like you're part of the family after the first visit. My experience was top-notch! I'm very glad I finally did it... and very glad I chose them.

I had a bad experience here with a lack of transparency regarding insurance coverage. Which is unfortunate, because I had a great experience with my doctor and hygienist, and if it wasn't for this issue I'd be happily returning for my next cleaning.

I was told that "they take my insurance" only to find out that my insurance is, in fact, out of network, and the coverage was VERY partial, leaving me on the hook for over $300.

It should be protocol to let patients know what to expect regarding costs and coverage, BEFORE being seen by the dentist, to avoid such a surprise and financial burden. I've never had this experience before at a dentist and it left me feeling exploited. To be fair, I should have insisted on transparency and a clear breakdown of the insurance info myself. I was too trusting I suppose - lesson learned.
