In order to take care of your teeth you got to have appointments often and this is what this place doesn't do it's hard to make appointments especially new appointments

This place is GOD AWFUL! The receptionist are RUDE and lack any real knowledge. I sat for an hour waiting for my daughter to be seen and come to find out she wasn't even fully checked in! I was flabbergasted because I take time off of work to come here to wait around for this long because someone didn't do their job. They only reason I continue to come is because Medi-cal doesn't give much options.

Severe lack of compassion and TERRIBLE pediatric dentistry. If they ever tell you your child has a cavity, RUN. If you hear the words “silver fluoride,” get the heck out and get to a real pediatric dentist. *Any* pediatric dentist would be better. New dentist horrified by the “treatment” done at this place. The dental assistants are sweet but the actual dentists are insanely bad. Not to mention, you can never get an appointment in a timely manner.

Couldn’t even make it past phone calls every time I called. They were full told me to call back on Monday morning at 7. Well guess what it’s monday morning, I’ve been on the phone on hold for 20 minutes! The wait time was suppose to be 1 minute. If you’re new good luck getting in they only have 5 appointments a week for new clients. 5 a week?! What kind of backwardness is that? Even if you do follow the receptionist advice and call on Monday mornings you still don’t get in. Waste of time I’m not bothering I’ll go some where else.

I was on hold for over 30 min. to make a new patient appointment. When someone finally answered I was told that there was only one appointment available for the rest of the year. I was shocked! Today is Oct. 21st therefore there are more than two months remaining in this year. I think any reasonable person would find that to be highly unprofessional. I believe that if you are going to offer a service to people, you have to be available to offer it. The only remaining appointment does not work for me and I will have to look elsewhere.

I had the best experience here with my two and a half year old son. I loved how they decorated around the dentist chair for Halloween and had a cartoon on to help soothe him. The dental assistant was kind enough to give him a toy car as well when he was crying and it made him happy.

UPDATED REVIEW. While it remains difficult getting a standard appt (in my case, I have to wait for however long it takes for them to find a 1-hr time slot because I guess there aren't any right now with the dentist I saw), if you are in pain & need urgent care, they squeeze you in really quickly. That kind of rapid response to urgency isn't always forthcoming in other dental practices I've been to over the years - places like Western Dental will leave you hanging for weeks on end - so it is to be commended.
