I had an implant yesterday with Dr. Tyko and his amazing team and I Just have to commend everyone involved because my experience was above and beyond any experience I’ve had in the past. This was my 4th implant, but first with Dr. Tyko and, although my previous surgeon was great, my experience yesterday was like receiving a Christmas gift to myself! Best decision I’ve made in the year of 2024…and that’s saying volumes!!!!!

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Tyko's office 2 days ago, which felt more like a spa visit than an oral surgery appointment. The office itself was clean, calm, modern, and spacious—everything you’d want for a relaxing visit.

Dr. Tyko’s staff was professional and kind. The front office crew, especially Christy, was incredibly friendly and helpful, guided me with clarity, and ensured I had all the reminders I needed for appointments and follow-ups.

During the consultation, before the surgery, the Medical Assistant, Sloan, took the time to go over all my options and made sure I understood every step. She was clear, patient, and asked if I had any questions as she explained things. I especially appreciated that Sloan, who had already made me feel at ease, was also the Dental Assistant helping Dr. Tyko during my procedure. It was comforting to see a familiar face at the start of my appointment when I was feeling so nervous.

Even though I was extremely anxious about the dental procedure (dental implant surgery), as soon as we began, I felt completely at ease and relaxed because I could tell I was in great hands. There were four people in the room attending to me at once, and they were all in sync, monitoring my progress using state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Tyko’s team was so attentive, even rubbing my back during the numbing shot to help me stay calm.

Dr. Tyko was patient, calm, and made sure I was completely numb before starting, testing the area to ensure I felt no discomfort whatsoever. He spoke softly, and patiently explained each step of the procedure, so there were no surprises. Further, Dr. Tyko personally called to check on me a few hours after my procedure—something no other dentist or doctor has ever done for me. I have never experienced better bedside manner in my entire life.

I have had bad experiences at dentists offices in the past and have been called “hard to numb” having to endure pain while getting worked on. It is traumatic! I literally put off fixing my tooth for five years because I was so afraid. But rest assured, there is a place that has thought long and hard about providing the optimal patient experience, and most importantly THEY WON’T HURT YOU!

This was a 10/10 experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Tyko and his staff to anyone—especially those who are nervous or downright terrified of extensive dental work. After my procedure, I joked to my friend that I’d love to have 22 busted teeth and a million dollars to fix them, just to spend more time with Dr. Tyko and his lovely team! They really go above and beyond.

If you're anxious about your procedure, run (don’t walk) to Dr. Tyko’s office. You will be well-informed, comforted, and taken care of every step of the way. My worries are gone, and I am so glad to share this “diamond in the rough” for anyone who feels the same overwhelming fear that I did.

Excellent experience. Everyone from the front desk, to the dental/surgical assistants, and especially Dr Rogers , gave me the best experience I've ever had at a dentist in my 65 years . The technical skill, as well as the kindness shown by all helped make my tooth extraction pretty much stress-free. Dr Rogers' follow up care was above and beyond. Truly, I highly recommend!

In May, I had two of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Rogers. Now that everything has healed nicely, I wanted to share my experience.
From start to finish, the staff at the office were incredibly caring, kind, and attentive. On my first visit, they explained each step of the process, so I knew what to expect. I was still scared since I had to go under anesthesia, but two wonderful assistants held my hand and helped calm me down. The procedure itself was smooth and quick, and I was out of the office in about an hour.
The only downside was that I developed an infection shortly after my first checkup. I was diligent about taking care of my extraction sites, so I suspect I may have gotten the infection from the doctor’s office, especially since I was told everything looked great during the checkup. Within the next eight hours, I had to call them and start antibiotics to treat the infection.
Aside from this issue, my overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers and Santa Rosa Oral Surgery for their professionalism and compassionate care.

Just had a tooth extracted and am grateful to say the experience was better than I ever could have expected. To say I'm pleasantly surprised is an understatement.

Every point of contact was friendly and professional. From my first call with Courtney at the front desk, through the consult and financial information. But it's the day of the extraction that was so exceptionally positive I felt a need to share this review.

Martha who helped with the procedure was a treasure. She's such a congenial and warm human being that I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Rogers did an amazing job and has a delightful sense of humor (which to me is a boon in any medical professional). I felt virtually no pain during the process, and after icing up my jaw on my drive home I didn't after the Novocain wore off either. After fearful anticipation I still can't quite believe it was such an easy process.

The thing that really hit me though, was how cheerful the folks who work there are. The team members resetting the room for the next patient were singing and chatting with me. It's good to know the people that are taking care of you are well taken care of by their office. I could have happily hung out with them for a bit longer.

I heartily recommend Santa Rosa Oral Surgeons to anyone with the need for such work. They turned something scary into a nothing burger, and I'm grateful!

The surgery experience itself was smooth and as expected
Unfortunately, the billing experience has felt like theft. In summary, I was due a refund for overpayment by my insurance. They were paid out over 60 days ago.I just called today for the sixth time and have still not received my refund check, on this last day of May.

I was told in January that one insurance policy was not active, even though it was. I responded immediately. I followed up in February. In March, my insurance notified me of overpayment, meaning, I was due a refund. I called in March to inquire about this. I called April to inquire about this. I called this week in May to inquire about this. And was told a check had been cut in April but was never sent, And that they would call me back. No one called me back. I called today for the sixth time to find the check for my refund has still not been put in the mail. While, it may not be a large amount to some, this experience leads me to believe that a refund would not have been issued without diligent follow up. I feel financially taken advantage of. And when I expressed this verbally, no reassurances or explanations were given. I would highly advise anyone getting work here to track billing carefully.

I had a wonderful experience this morning with the most amazing team of dental professionals I've ever incountered!
Dr. Roger's was very professional he had great humor and a few good ice breakers!
In today's world customer service is almost a fable. The customer service and patient care was top knotch here!
